Blizzard Releases Diablo 3!

Guild Wars wasn't released by Blizzard, though some of the A-Net staff are behind some of the Blizzard games. Guild Wars is a pretty bad game though, and if a real Diablo 3 ever comes out then it better be better than Guild Wars. Even Diablo 2 and Diablo 1 are better than Guild Wars.

Even all the spell's remind me of D2. Fire storm - Sorc Blizzard; Flare - flare; Ice, lighting, everything...
Remember in D2 the Pally's aura thing? (I think pally) That smoke type ring circling his waste? My elementalist in GW had the same spell. "Chant auro of regeneration" or something.
Except,
I had more fun in the first 3 days of D2.
The guys behind Guild Wars are the guys behind Diablo.
Educate yourself a little bit about the game and you'll find out that what you're describing is pretty much exactly what you would have expected.

I could care less if it is Diablo 3 or not. When I played the E3 for everyone event I realized it wouldn't be like an MMORPG.. so by then, I was hoping it would be like a Diablo 3.

Next time you state an opinion on a game it better be better than this one... It might b a lot like Diablo but really, quality assesments of a game in alpha as if it were the game itself are just plain silly imho.

Should I point out the millions of Diablo 2 rips that are successful MMOs? I mean MMO.com has a huge list that are JUST like Diablo 2 in an MMO world. They do well, many are better than Diablo 2. Guild Wars is a good game. Sure it has some elements like Diablo 2 but it is very much it's own game. STOP COMPLAINING. If you don't like it you don't like it. If you want to tell others why you don't like it please let us know in an intelligent post.

Its a free per month game what did you expect?I mean really its just another overhyped underproduced game.
People have been talking this one up for a longtime.Its free (aside from initial purchase)so more than likely it wont even be updated that often.
Want to ENJOY an mmo?
Dont start a guild and dont be a leader or volunteer to be coleader or captain.

did you see warcraft 3.. it was just like Red alert 2.. OMG they ripped it.
did you see the GUI?? omg, its almost the same, i meen their is buttons.. oh and you control many units, and build buildings.. they ripped it off.
Oh and the new warhammer game is a rip off Warcraft 3~ omg, you got units, and you upgrade them, and you have strategies.
One would almost come to think they are in the same Genre?

lol... They are both RPG's ofcourse they are gona have similarities. Also the fact that many of them worked on Diablo will influence them.. Anybody could tell you that.. its like saying Starcraft is too much like Warcraft.. Ofcourse they would be, they are made by the same group of guys, so ofcourse they are gona do stuff the way to like to do it. And that tends to stick with them.

Hes always bitching... He's waiting for Guild War and he dont like when we say GW is just another Diablo online. GW is fun but its a lot closer to Diablo then WoW.

Defend = Prove your point, bring argument, try to prove im wrong.
Stop talking about Ryzom when its not the subject. Go play EQ1 or AC1 or DaoC, you'll see why Guild War is not a true mmorpg. Its more of a online Diablo, more ack'n'slash then RPG.

A MMORPG is a game centered on character progression in vast, multi-player world. A world where you can actually use your head to analyse the games mechanic. An mmorpg is more realistic and complex while a game like GW is more about action and simplicity. Yeah every mmorpg include grinding, people complaining about grinding are missing the true aspect of mmorpg : community and having fun.
And if you think you dont have to use your brain to play : Have you ever played FFXI, I did for 9 month, I played a lot with Asian players, believe me we were lvling twice as fast then most groups. Anyone that played FFXI and grouped with Asian know what im talking about.

IMHO GW is a well made NWN mod. (AT THE MOMENT).
The game is still in alpha stages so alot can change. Mind you, my opinion is only from the recent WBE. From now till release tons could change. The devs are very active on the boards with lots of questions to the public. How many of these suggestions they act upon, who could say.
I personally don't know what to expect from GW. No monthly fee could mean a blessing or a curse.
Either way content, quality and support will win the day for me in my choice of MMO game.
There is a large thread over on their boards, maybe you should post how you feel about GW there also.
Post a link to these types of forums on their boards. Maybe someone would listen and you peeps words would do some good, and maybe change something if presented in the right fashion. Just My opinion.
