Well i am giving WAR a second chance and am wondering if anyone can help me find a good class that fits me personally i like to tank but i like to dps too, and this is where i cant make my mind up but if it helps when i played WAR back in the summer of '08 i played a Warrior and a Rogue.
I love to be able to solo but thats not what WAR is about in WAR healers heal, tanks tank, and dps well they dps, so if yuo could please help me out that would be nice.

i loved the black orc you could take a ton of damage and at the same time jump in the mix and get their healers. that would be my recommendation for a tank class but i would also suggest looking at the two classes their bringing into the game soon and see if those would fit what you like to play too
i'm having loads of fun playing the chaos tank. overall he just looks like a badass. not to mention you can hold your own in combat for awhile and those debuffs they get are great. although i'm currently testing out the chaos Marauder and they do some nice melee damage.
i've always been the "in your face" type of guy
the swordmaster is a nice tank to play because they can tank but are also much better at dps than the other 2 order tanks im not sure how it is on the destro side of things so i cant offert any help there.
On order, if you want a DPS tank go with the high elfs, swordmaster. they are really really good.
and for destruction, go with the black orc... they can take loads of punishment, and at the same time they can dps decent. not quite as good as the swordmaster. swords are about 60% tank 40% Dps and black orcs are prolly the opposite.

For order, I'd say a Swordmaster, they really are underrated, and have seen some really well played ones own the field. Destro, for survival, Black Orc, suckers are hard to take down, especially with heals on them, or for more of a offensive tank, Chosen, look badass, great debuff/buff auras, not the greatest damage, but with heals can really hold their own. I haven't tried my hand at Blackguard or KOTBS, but neither really suited my style at the time.(Plus it was when they first came out and every scenario was filled with both).
If you like to tank and do DPS, for destro Black Orc is the correct answer
although, I will say you might be impressed with playing a warrior priest or a disciple of kain. I know, not tanks or DPS but theyre incredibly self sufficient and hard to take down for many classes. I only mention these two classes because you mentioned an interest in soloing. These two classes solo very well. Disciple of Kain will deal more damage than the warrior priest, but the wp balances this out with being a bit more sturdier.
