On the off chance you're serious..
Yes it's worth getting The Burning Crusade right away. You get access to 2 extra races and sooner or later you're going to want to go to Outland (TBC area). Especially seen as levels 20-50 now reward 30% more XP (Could have got a few figures wrong, but it's something like that)
You can now get a mount at level 30 and they're slightly cheaper than they were before.
Wrath of the Lich King, on the other hand, isn't worth getting until you reach higher levels. Vecause I don't believe there are any benefits to having it at a low level.
MMOs played (In order of how much I've liked them): Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, Vanguard, City of Villains / Heroes, Guild Wars, Warhammer Online, Age of Conan, Tabula Rasa, Anarchy Online, Ryzom, Final Fantasy XI, Matrix Online, RF Online, Rappelz, Hero Online, Roma Victor
thx guys by the way i already own it but i think i may hav had it on my account but i might hav to buy a new one thx
1 thing to add is that if you don't get TBC and WotLK you won't have access to any of the enchants from those expansions. TBC gives you new enchants for level 35+, and wrath gives you enchants for level 60+. just something to keep in mind as well as the blood elf and draenei classes you get with TBC
If you really have been banned for no reason you should be able to clear that with the Blizzard customer support, they should be able to find what went wrong.
If they can't and you really did nothing wrong, then at least I would play something else, I would have been very upset..
Just contact them, they are usually helpful, and you should be able to have your account opened again.
As for tBC you should buy it if you want to be one of the new races, otherwise you can wait until you are lvl 50+, no real hurry then.
I canceled my account yesterday not because the game is lackluster; I believe the game is one of the the top mmorpgs on the market. I canceled because there are so many things to do in the game, and I am the type of player that doesn't like to level up while neglecting things, specifically profressions. (ALSO, i hate raiding, and arena is totally out of wack.....burst is ridiculous.)
My advice to all new players is this: Pick your stanard two professions, and pay attention to them. Level them up as you would normal player level. Also, keep up with cooking and fishing. People neglect these a lot, but trust me, they will be extremely beneficial to you.
Anyways, goodluck. This game is really what is setting the standard for great mmorpgs. Enjoy it to the fullest.
TBC was a decent Xpac. yes players are still in outlands (5 million deathknights).
just naturally go from zone to zone and enjoy it.
PLaying: EvE, Ryzom
Waiting For: Earthrise, Perpetuum
