The whole process ends with an email telling you that they'll let you know when..etc. When you put into when you register the game with your account is actually a short string of numbers that is sent to you in a second email (3 emails in total). Don't know where to put the long CD-key... bah not worth it hehe.

Aww, now i feel bad. It worked just fine for me a few days ago...
I got the cd-key by e-mail from the site i linked, i added the cd-key to my station account, downloaded the client and i played. There wasn't any wait.
I'm sorry all. o_O I really don't know why it won't work.

So.. this no longer works? I have gotten to the end... and it wants to check my pc again.. like i'm signign up for eq2 beta.. maybe someone who got into us beta can tell us where they went to type in their key? :O
I added my key to my station account to this page a few days ago : http://eq2beta.station.sony.com/beta_reg/fr/register.jsp but somehow sony has changed something preventing us to have an instant acces like i did. Some folk said that they have to wait 24 hours now... i don't understand... i didn't have to wait at all.. o_O

when I go there its a pc test thing.. do I need to take it? I am not using internet explorer.. so I need to reisntall that to do it.. anyone know if that is all?

I did the PC test thing. After that it basically thanks you for wanting to test, and that they'll let you know if they need you.
