Maybe if this was a PvP game but its an RvE one atm.
Also players do drop "some" loot. What it needs to do or should have done from the start was make it so you can level exclusively doing RvR at the same rate as PvE or scenarios. Diminishing returns wasnt the best idea they had.
I have been leveling up a WE for kicks just doing RvR and by that i mean attacking and defending keeps when there are actually people around to fight and i spent an entire Saturday afternoon/evening (was around 7hrs) doing this and was having a great time but got like 30% xp of level 21. For me its great cause i can stay in t2 and have a blast but for people "trying" to level up i can see why they avoid RvR.
You are wellcome to join the PvP crowd in DFO. Don't like Carebears? kill them then..
For YEARS -- LITERALLY YEARS, people like you come to the forums of a game that actually EXISTS and tells people to play DFO. Let me clue you in, DFO is not out yet, and may NEVER come out if history teaches us anything about this game. And with all the red flags that have surrounded its development and never ending imminent release dates I dont think I am going out on a limb here when I say this game most likely wont be good at all.
DFO as far as I am concerned is vaporware and if it does manage to make it to release will share the same fate as DnL. I wish people like you would try and understand how silly you look pushing DFO.
Players will go where the best loot drops. Make the best drops come from players. I guarantee you won't be able to move for fighting.
maybe if they actually come out with a decent system where you actually pvp instead of fliping unmaned keeps and taking mob owned battle objectives we would have fights all the time.
Although I agree there needs to me more incentive for PLayer on player conflict. I dont believe having the best items from player kills is the best way to do it. That would just lead to extreem ganking. Players soloing using the stealth classes as loners farming the war camps to kill anyone who leaves.
I like how they made a T4 influence system and those rewards are very nice. I think more and better items should come from Keep/zone control

sigh. First of all "all" of Warhammer is "carebear" of you want to put it in light of an actual pvp game. Sorry but don't go patting yourself on the back for being a pvp player in Warhammer. Oh , it's really fun, but it's pretty pvp light as far as pvp games go.
Secondly, all you would do by allowing looting is to have players who don't like looting find another game. Though why anyone would go to Warhammer strictly for the PvE is beyond me. It's ok at best.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

sigh. I cant wait till DF is out and all the "hardcore" PvP'ers have a place to call home. The OP means loot dropping from players as if they are npc mobs not full looting any gear they may be wearing. As if a casual game like WAR would go full loot. And DF fanatics wonder why people make inflammatory posts in their forums lol.

This is the whole point. At the moment, people are encouraged to take keeps for the PvP set armour. All I see is keep swapping and PvE warbands avoiding conflict at all costs to farm the gold bags.

LOL. Look how cool I am. I can call anyone not as L33T as me a carebear.
Secondly you are braindead if you think PVP wil be solved by making the best drops come off players. If you do that then people will run dual accounts or make arrangements with players on the other side and they will meet up to kill each other till good drops happen. It will be horribly exploitable.
Uhm... of course it's simple to prevent people from avoiding PvP. Another simple way of cutting your revenue in half is just banning half the players. That's probably even easier.

there is a reason why you see so many care bears in war..
a lot of them came from wow. so what do you exspect ?

Why would there be any carebears in WAR ? The pve is horrible and incredibly boring !
I wish Darkfall would hurry and launch. Not because I want to play it.

You have a couple of weeks before the game, *coughs* "launches". So you have some time till your PVP hardcore game of games is here!!!!!!
