Hi all, been thinking of playing eq2, vanguard or lotro (I have a lvl 41 burg) however I don't get a lot of time to group these days - I only group on the weekends when I have time. I just wondered is it possible to go from 50-60 in Moria solo and group at level 60 for the books?

I will have to say yes.
I am currently at 57 with my Guardian, and have soloed the entire way. I'll be headed to Eregion with my 49 Champion before too long also.
Sure, I have had to skip out on a couple small/full group quests, but I'll get back to those someday.
Good luck.

Yes very solo-able, did damn near all of Moria solo on my Minstrel. Even many of the small group quests I was able to solo with the fear tactic. Course there are over 100 quests inside instances you'll obviously need a group for but those are just extras.
There are so many quests in Moria...lets see I was 54 before I finished Eregion, and was 60 in Moria with well over 150-175 quests remaining.
Soloed to 51 so far and have almost cleared out Eregion this way. I have to get up from the comp alot while playing that's why I solo so much. Yes, you will miss out on the group quests but sometimes that what happens. Currently I am going to get to 60 and then do the Epic Book quests.
In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.
Thats what I was planning on doing at lvl 60, the epic books:), I think I might check it out then - thnx for your help folks
I'll just add my 2 cents- I'm up to level 57 and there's still easily half of Moria left ahead of me. And I'm mostly a solo player. It's also pretty easy to find a person to two to team up with for quests in Moria if you want to (and I'm on posibly the lowest pop server in the game), but solo is also easily done. Quite fun with some different things to do as well.
There's also a number of solo only instances that are available in the Great Delving that can be repeated as well.
