Any game like this?

Looking for a new mmo, would really like a more solo style game where youre against everyone else in a free for all, idealy something like age of empires but in a persistent world if that makes sense.

Would like to build my own towns, raise an army, try and take territory off other players, that kind of thing.

Does anything like this exist?
