If HBO was to turn one Video game into a TV series

What would you like to see? I say HBO because they are known for having very gritty raw series that do not hold back to any type of standards other stations have.
To my Max Payne would be perfect here, forget the whole incident with the movie and just start fresh with a TV series that last three seasons "A season for the first Payne, a Season for the 2nd, and a third season to wrap it all up". To me its the perfect candidate because its Raw, but wity at the same time.

The movie did blow, and a tv series would to. I can't think of the top of my head what i'd like to see, the majority of the time, a movie turned into a game blows and vice versa, i think there now 2 totally different types of media and shouldn't cross together.

Would you care to give reasons why a TV series of MP on HBO would blow?
The reasons I ask is because you probably have just seen the movie, or played the games so long ago that your memory has taken the movies as canon, because the game is perfect for a series.
It is already episodic in the fact that everything is broken up into comic chapters in game. The Characters are all very different and intriguing while still keeping a good sense of realism in their actions so they are not over the top. It is ambiguious in its use of the supernatural, meaning that you see things happen that seem impossible but it is never said to be an outside force doing it, which could work great for a show. So what reasons would you have for not making it into a show?

The wingcommander movie was a decent attempt first go round...
It would make a good series with Hbo's rough edge.
That game...and that movie...got way too little attention...it deserved more.

Mech Warrior would make a good series in my opinion...if they based it on the books and kept it rich with the political side ...and of course...GREAT CGI.
I really like this idea, Mech Games, TV Shows, action figures, any of that needs to make a resurgance in the US. Sadly I do not think transformers is the answer.
