in Guild wars you can have 2 classes and choose the skills from each you want.. something like that?

    terrible punctuation and grammar...but anyway

i'd say Runes of Magic maybe?

Darkfall (i guess) is another (sandbox)

Ryzom is another sandbox (no classes, just skills, so you make your own class)

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

It is free after you buy the box(es) which you can probably pick up cheap.

GW wasn't to my tastes (not being able to jump was weird) but is a nice game and great value for money. Just don't buy all the expansions and then decide it isn't for you, that isn't cheap.

You criticize this guy's grammar and punctuation then...

You didn't capitalize the "T" in terrible, nor did you punctuate the first sentence (no period).

You failed to capitalize the "i" in "i'd" which is not only at the beginning of a sentence but is also a contraction of "I" and "would" and "I" being a first person singular pronoun is always capitalized.

You failed capitalize the "i" in "i guess".

You failed to put a period at the end of your third sentence (after sandbox).

I see no reason sandbox should be in parenthesis.

You failed to put a period at the end of your last sentence.

So you failed to punctuate 3 out of 4 sentences, and you failed to capitalize the first word in 2 out of 4 sentences.

Perhaps you should take a long hard look at your own grammar and punctuation before making light of others.

To the OP... I think Runes of Magic might be what you are looking for.   I have also enjoyed Rohan (but you can't really combine class skills).

For a non-sandbox game, I'd recommend you give Guild Wars a try. There is a total of 10 professions (classes), which can be combined together as you please in the form of a primary and secondary profession. Therefore in the end your character can have any two professions at a given time, and it is possible to change your secondary profession via a drop-down menu at any given time. (I also feel the need to mention that it is a skill-based game, which means that gear has little to no effect).

If you're looking for a sandbox, give Ryzom a try. It is unique in the way that you can create your own spells. Each spell and skill consists of various elements, which can be mixed and matched as you please to form your own creations.

    Try

    http://www.fileshack.com

All you have to do is register as a member and choose one of the free mirror sites.   I'm currently downloading Perfect World from there at about 400kb per second.

    Good luck!

EDIT:  MY MISTAKE... I COULD NOT LOCATE THE RUNES OF MAGIC CLIENT ON THIS SITE.. sorry.

People seem to have forgotten to include Mabinogi in the above lists of classless games.

LOL...  are you saying Mabinogi is lacking social and economic destinction?

Or is it a game that has character creation and advancement that is devoid of classes?

lol, the first one and Mabinogi?

It's the 2nd pick , although building up your character is a bit of a pain, and considering it's under Nexon if you want the most out of the game [or end-game], you have to use up some $(atleast 10 bucks).

I mainly say this due to that there's these season..or episode quest things that basically request you to use some 'premium' service, EX : an extra storage kit package, so to become the ultimate character, you need to use some $. Other than that, it's fairly fun.

It's probably good to give Mabinogi a try.

Help, help, help. It's all fun.
