Could some one please fill me in on what kind of game this is? Like what kind of classes and races and what not. From a lot of threads i have seen that this game does not revolve around leveling. What would this game compare to?

this game is skill based like ryzon, uo and i think wow{ not sure on that i never even looked at that game)
Its a carebear roleplaying society of snobs all speaking bad english with bad graphics. The fan- bois will flame me claiming all sorts of crap but thats my opinion. Basicly just wait till dec download the beta2 its open make your own mind if its a POS or a decent game

why is this flea1 guy so passionate about slamming wish? does it make your insignificant real life seem more important that someone actually pays attention to you online because your slamming something you know nothing about?

Im sure your all comming in from the VN boards to back your carebear buddies. I actuallly am having fun fighting you all on the matter. No good games out to play so i find fun in fighting it out on forums. Wish could be ok, but there going wrong with the lack of pvp small area wont due!!! Graphics still suck Ray sorry Lin 2 has better models hands down. Just the rest of lin 2 isnt made for western culture. Catered to asians who love never ending horrid grinds.
Once again aside from crappy pixles what else have they shown us ??? All i see is talk. { shrugs }

You should really get more informed if you are going to abjectly bash it.
You keep saying small PvP area. That's a load of misinformation.
The PvP area is ~3x what we saw in beta 1. The map overall is 40km x 40km. The size of that PvP area if you do a crop and ratio looks about 9km x 9km. about 81 square km of full all out PvP and you're calling it small?
And the graphics from the new screenshots are amazing, so you're misinformed there too!
let's start with the fact that graphics are STILL not awsome....they are definately better, but far from perfection. but graphics (at least for me) play secondary role. yes, I love a game with good graphics, but it doesn't mean I'll rush out and get excited about Guild Wars (for those graphics fans: best graphics I've seen in any game) I am interested in gameplay. If UO wasn't so behind time, and started improving 5 years ago - I'd still be playingit over any other MMRPG out there, altho graphics in original UO are 2D iso. The concept of With is what excites me. Whether devs can deliver what the promised - is another story all together, but hope dies last. So let's wait till Dec 2
Heres an idea, the original poster asked for information of WISH........not your opinions. How about we give him the info and let him decide for himself.
Wish is a game that doesn't use levelling as most games do but your skills grow gradually as you use them making for what should be a more realistic gaming experience. Also, because of this the economy should be very lively as crafters will have to train crafting skills to improve rather than fighting monsters to gain blacksmithing skills.....go figure, which in turn should lead to a more diverse range of classes where each is reliant on another which in turn should promote a good community.
This is whay WISH is all about, community, no insta-travel, town guilds etc......take a look at the main board or even better the stratics site.
I suggest you go to mutablerealms.com and check out all the developement notes and the history that the devs are creating. Then sign up for the open beta that starts on January 1st. There is too much to describe and the game looks simply incredible. What remains to be seen is can they pull it off. This game is shooting for an extremely high mark.
