Having played beta, and missing it since last sat, I am very hyped up to play this game again. I heard alot of negativity about this game before i was accepted into beta. When I got in I never saw any of the supposed bugs, crashes, or lag that was supposedly plagueing this game. Im not saying it wasnt present IN THE BETA, but hey wth is beta for if not to iron out the wrinkles in a game? When the game went down saturday afternoon it was more complete than any other mmorpg i have ever played at the end of beta or on day one. Im not a real eq2 fanbois, but I have to admit that all the hate this game is receiving is based on SWG and EQ. I suppose you have some basis, but I thought EQ was a great game for its time, and so was SWG. Planetside also was a great game. So in conclusion EQ2 is honestly a great game and I eagerly anticipate its arrival this tuesday. Just because a company has had a bad reputation doesnt necessarily mean they cant improve from past mistakes...look at ford motor company, honda, nintendo, xbox, and many other companies who have made countless mistakes in both products and customer service, yet nowadays are generally viewed in a positive light. Its not like SOE shot your dog, or raped your sister...

The people at EB don't give a crap about guild wars. They're all too busy orgasming over GTA:SA and Halo 2.
All I can say is I got into the beta for the last two weeks and I decided to change my pre-order from the Limited edition to the regular one and pre-ordered WoW at the same time. It might be worth playing for a while but not for that much money.

Each to their own, I also played the last two weeks of beta. I had WoW and EQII regular editions pre ordered and canceled the WoW pre order. I figure if I ever get burned out on EQII WoW will still be there and maybe by that time (if it ever occurs) all the maturity challenged fans of that game will have moved on to some other game without a monthly sub.
I never buy limited editions of anything. The only thing limited about the them is how many they can sell.
