The server I play on which is server 4 EST seems to have reverted to an old char vault, I logged in just 5 minutes ago and all the gear (but not the xp) I earned today has vanished, Weird. Anyone has had this happen to them Or is it just me and my luck!!
Seems very strange to have the xp but not the gear, lol. O well

I have no idea if I'll have that problem, because when I try to log in, it tells me someone already has that name! It's my damned character....
Anyone else having THIS problem? I'd rather lose my stuff from today, instead of having to start over....

I'd rather start anew than not play at all. But I think Blizzard just messed up it's server or something by accident when they were restarting it. And that would probably explain why both of you are having your problems. I don't know why your experience stayed, though.
I once had the "Someone already has that name" thingy once after the game crashed and I tried to log back in too early. It takes 30 seconds to log out, so if the game crashes you have to wait 30 seconds before you try to log back in. Thats the only time it happened to me, dont know if thats the problem you are having.

As for my problem, it was my server... it just came up not too long ago.. and yes, going down, AGAIN. Arg.

maybe Blizzard's way of making the grind longer is nerfing everything to hell.
