Black areas of the gameplay videos

in Everquest II

As I watch the gameplay streams I see in some of them the game window has a black border at both the top and bottom. Is this some widescreen viewing option or does the game look like that? I didnt buy a 20.1 inch LCD to have 1/4 of it showing black nothingness. Can anyone shed some light on the black areas of the gameplay vids please??

    Ya it's a widescreen option dude - u can play full screen if ya want.. some people prefer the panoramic (sp) view.
