What music will you listen to while playing EQ2?

tonestones Member Posts: 60

I am assuming there is no ingame MP3 player in EQ2 so I guess I will be loading up my Winamp with the following tuneage:

1) Led Zeppelin

2) The Tea Party

3) AC/DC

4) RUSH

5) Pearl Jam

6) Jimi Hendrix

7) The Doors

What will you guys be rockin' to on Tuesday?

I too will be lsitening to eq2's lovely soundtrack.. besides.. you cant play anything in the abckground.. eq2 like eqlive I am betting will override all music.. and also.. you need to hear the people talk :P

I really hope the soundtrack is good enough to make me not feel the need for mp3s. I have always played games with mp3s, because there is nothing fantastic about the game, it is more entertaining at laest if I had my own music.

But, if music is necessary... let's see...

VAST, lacuna coil, the gathering, borknagar, in flames, my dying bride, sentenced, anathema, antimatter, etc..

those are the usual suspects, among others...

The game music is not that bad (professional orchestra, ya know!)...there's plenty of different tracks depending on the zone, so don't forget to try that, too. image

I hope to be hearing my GF going ooooh ahhhh over the game as we play <safe in the knowledge I know that night I'll get lucky>image

Well, at first I will listen to the EQ2 music for a while.  When I eventually get tired of it, say days or whatever then it will be

    DMB

    Coldplay

    Lost Prophets

    Tantric

Some Techno Trance mixes for fast grinding sessions

Hmm can't think of anything prominent in my mind other than those atm.

I have a hard time playing a fantasy style game while listening to the radio. It just doesn't set the mood for me and just doesn't feel right. I think i might be able to listen to some Baroque style of music though.

I dont like to listen to RL music while playing the game, it distracts me for some reason. I never listen to it when playing a FPS, I have to be totally in focus ::::18:: But I EQ2's sound track I will listen to, and be more immersed in the game.

Like most people, I doubt I will feel the need for MP3s for a while.  BUT...

When I do, I have too many to choose from.  I usually just select them all and set it to random.  Unless i'm in a certain mood.

    My mood music...

Slayer, Rammstein, Finn Bros(Crowded House, etc), A Perfect Circle(Tool), Matthew Good Band(and yes, I AM Canadian. hehe), and a little Eminem(D12) as well.

The in-game music is something really nothing short but adpative. Aside from that, the npc's talk to you to request your help.

I wont listen to nothing but eq2.

I will probably turn off eq2 music and leave only ambient sounds fxs etc. I am looking for a really immersive experience and thats what i hope to find eq2 while spending some of my free time. ( eq2 soundtrack is pretty nice tho).
