Remember if your running SLi to re-enable it after installation via the Nvidia control panel.
The release notes do state there is limited support with SLi and Antialiasing
Have been seeing a slight increase with the live deployment of patch 1.04. Whether this is due to better optimization in this patch or due to the drivers I am not sure, might roll back later and compare more. However, when testing the patch on the test server under the previous drivers compared to now things are slighty better in more crowded area's. By slighty I mean by a couple of FPS.
This update for those with Nvida cards would be a good update anyway in relation to the forthcoming DX10 update too.
So far the driver is not giving me any grief. Running Vista 64- bit.
ATI
Newest version of Catalyst driversare out now, Catalyst 9.2. The new version of Catalyst brings some performance improvements for DirectX 10 games, bunch of resolved issues as well as the new multi-GPU support for Folding@Home.
Noted performance improvements include gains of up to 20 percent in both Crysis and Crysis Warhead in DirectX 10 mode, up to five percent in World in Conflict DirectX 10 as well as some performance enhancements when running Fear 2 in CrossFireX mode.
Beside these performance improvements and a new feature, the new version of ATI Catalyst brings bunch of resolved issues for both Windows and Linux platforms.
The last ATI Catalyst update included a fix to get better performance with AoC DX10 (which was on the test server) If you missed that then this is a good update for you in preperation of the forthcoming inclusion in that area.
You can download the latest driver here: game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx
If you have an 4870X2, have notice that only 1 person so far to my knowledge has had a small issue in game with "artifacts" in Age of Conan. I have this card and will be testing it out myself over the next few hours for issues or repetition of error.

Good to know.
Updated with the new ATI catalyst driver release info!
Great news!..I have the artifact issues for DDO and LotRO...had to download old 178 drivers at the cost, from what I notice, of some frame rate/performance. Now ...not only do i hear these are fixed with the new drivers...but I will be ready when my copy of AoC arrives next week. yay.
Thanks for the FYI
Thanks for the thread man
The thing is since the last patch AoC has become a bug fest again:(
Not happy, Constant DCing, although iv'e lowered my settings in Video options, hasn't made any diffrence in the look of the game but has stopped me from freezing up alot, but this is ust one of a few major concerns.
Hey Jimmy, from my hometown I see
I was getting DC too quite a bit but the hotpatch after fixed it up ok for me personally. I know there will be another maintainance / fix patch this week which should help out. Only a few more days.
