Looks really good. The way the females walk kinda bothers me, but I guess its to appeal to the younger, hormone charged crowd that will look forward to the scantily clad dark-elves (i.e. Lineage II). Kinda breaks the EQ mood. Its like... I'm a scary female clad in platemail, now watch me sexily strut.
Anyways, everything else looks good!
Yes, looks absolutely fantastic! The only thing that bothered me visually, was the shots where they're walking downhill, and we see them from behind. Look at their feet - they sorta 'float' a bit.... and I don't think they were levitating
Anyway, the production quality looks fantastic, and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy! I may not be able to pick it up for a few days, till I can come up with the cash, but I'm really looking forward to it!

I agree about the female strut. Once in a while, fine, but they are gonna be walking that way ALL the time. yikes!
I'm guessing the female's will only walk that way when, well...they walk. I'm pretty sure they don't run like that.
Anyways, the video was amazing. Now I'm regretting my Half-Life 2 pre order. I wish I would've bought EQ2 instead (although I eventually will anyhow). The only thing that bums me out a little bit about EQ2 is the lack of PvP.

The female walk thing? It's the old fashioned model 'on the runway' walk. Took a while to figure out. Looks really strange animated. I just hope the females don't run 'like girls' the way the females did in Everquest Live.
Like the music with this movie too. Great job all around.

They are definately going for the "Epic" feel with this promo. It just about manages it too.
My only concern would be that it is probably a bit slow for its length, considering the target audience.
Having said all that, it still manages to give a good feel for what the game will look like to any prospective players and, so, should do its job nicely as a promo for EQ2.
too bad it doesnt actually look like that in game.. they should be sued for false advertisement..
only way you could ever get the game to look that way is with a geforce6800 ultra card and even than its wont be playable..

eq2 stinks.
Umm yeah. I just played the beta, and with my dinky 9800pro it looked mostly like what the movie shows. When I cranked up to maximum settings <very laggy> the scenes were breath taking.
So I have no clue what your systems specs are or even if you played the beta, but I can tell you, the movie isn't far from the mark at all. Now for the woman walking that way..WOOOO HOOO!!!, seriously though most people have run set as default and I didn't see puberty inducing "running"
