    gar.. lol, maybe I can convince someone to take me to wal-mart.. buy it (if they have it there) and then take em home and give me their card adn elt me paly.. ;p but I cant because my mom doesn't want me too and I would need to borrow her dvd drive... :( unless I jsut buy the cd version... anyone want to comment? :O I dont want to get cd version because its 10 cd's... and I might lsoe one/long isntall... and gay isntal;l switching alot..

    So unless they bent time and space to play on servers that where not up yet - there is a good bet they are SOE internal testers - and will be wiped by the time the game goes live

    You know, it is stuff like that that makes me not want to play.

    When they have to start having dumb stats pages like that to generate interest, they know they have problems.

    I mean, most NPC kills? Dumb. Stand somewhere and kill a level 1 mob over and over just to get the highest rank...

    I like the idea of knowing how many kills an NPC has, but having a top 10 kills for players, kills per death, etc... Stats like that should not be tracked, that shouldn't be what the game is about.

    Heh that isn't what the game is about. But I think it is pretty neat to know who killed the most NPCs. hell, if someone wants to stand there and kill level 1 mobs for days and days just to get the highest rank, they deserve to be known. ::::35::

    Just a thought... weren't the beta servers names like beta1 and beta2 or something??  They supposedly just released these servers so I am guessing that friends and family may have been allowed in a little early and that is what we are seeing here.

    I also just noticed that the numbers are going up from a few hours ago...  This has got to be real people in game now.

    I'm sure there will be someone who sits somewhere and slaughters lowbie mobs so he can see his name in lights, but its not like that is going to effect my game play, or anybody elses for that matter?  So what does it really matter to you what someone else considers to be fun?  If you think its a dumb stat, then ignore it, its that simple.

    Its not what the game is about, its just a stat that some people might find interesting.  Its not like people are going to hit the stat page before they let you into their group.  "Sorry, you only have 5,000 orc kills, you need at least 10k to be in our group" LOL

    I agree, its not what the game is about. Just something that players would find interesting. You can' block your profile I believe as well from others seeing it.

    If you played in the Beta you know how to Level that fast by doing a ton of quest, which if you look at that guy's stats he's obviously taken time off from work or what ever responsiblity he has so that he can play the game and do everything.   My friend basically leveled to 12 in one day when he made a new character during beta because he knew where everything is.  But once you get 12 it slows down no matter what you do, since the mobs get tougher and well since most people aren't that guy's age yet, the groups to join are rather thin.  Eitherway there is always someone who's got no life and spends tons of time in the game :) its just the way it is.  Course it doesn't mean im not totally jealous as hell!

    AFter about Lvl 12 it does slow down, and increasingly goes slower per level. The ratio is done very well. I made Lvl 19 (almost) in 10 days in Beta on my main, I had an alt I Played one time, granted I knew more about the game this time around, and got to Level 9 in 5 hours or so, plus levelling was not my intention. Everyone will go at their own pace. As far as the website, it's interesting, if you are just that, interested, I personally think the Guild stats are nioce, but other than that, it's bogus info. SOme people will be front line hence more player deaths, some will sit and kill low level mobs, in that cheap satisfaction tehy get when they are listed, for a time. As far as the character bio, you can lock that, but the stats remain open to all to see.. It's your bio and you info (str, con, etc & items) that you can lock from others view.
