In what concept does the mmo games became popular? ...,kindly post your opinion please, , , ,
for me its concept is all about interaction and community inside the virtual world using you're main character. You're main character is the one who represents you're whole personality or as you're self...
I guess the MMO games became popular for the reason the world doesn't exlusively exist of non-playing characters. Interaction with other people for the reason to trade, group/exp, form guilds and pvp with keep a games lifetime up a lot longer than a normal RPG game.
There's usually different classes with different builds that all have their pros and cons. People will strive for a way to become stronger or more skilled than other players and seek the joy of killing. Even if people are not after killing, they can socialize with guildmembers, help others and if the game system allows it craft items.
Well for me the graphics where the game really looks real. And also the different jobs that you will able to choose what you want. And also It's a community, it's a manifestation of the real world, you are also belong to a community, interacting with people whom you don't know and soon friendship will develop betwwen you.
Like in reality, you need to know the demand and supply in order to survive, Of course life isn't challenging without your enemies..hehehe
I also realized that even if you are not popular in the reality you can be popular in the game... with a good reputation as a gamer, where everybody recognize you...
Well,in my concept,MMORPG games should have a lot of systems, such as quests system, married system, bro system, and so on.The developer should make more and more events in the game.I wish everything will be come true!
Well, Its pretty much the whole experience of the game.
You have your imagination to create how your character acts in the game. This is awesome. You can be a totally different person.
Guilds.. Need I say more. The majority of mmo players like to be in a guild, its the great feeling to be a part of something. Meet new gamers, characters. Share your experience with other players in the game that you are close with
The time.. The time in which some of the games take place we all wish we were there... Slingin around a huge broad sword, taking over villages, killin orcs, etc. Its fun as hell.
Addiction... Gotta get max level... GRIND GRIND! You dont wanna stop.. You set a goal for the night to get X item, or level X.. You reach the goal, and still find yourself playing because maybe now you can get X item and manage to get to level X..
I think the addiction aspect of the mmo world has made it all blow up. I remember it like it was yesterday I was speaking to a old guy in block buster, telling me about everquest.. Ordered it up that day.. stole my mother credit card.. I was hooked. Especially when you're playing with real friends.. its the best.
LOVE THEM!

crafting and quest and interacting with other gamers

Well, first it is the social aspect. Then there is the competetive part.
And finally it kinda don't have an end the same way most games do.
Some people are just using the game as a chatroom while others compete for the cool stuff or who is best.
It is kinda funnier to do stuff together with other people, that is the main thing
i think the concept of the game.. the uniqueness of it.. the events..quest..graphics..
hey dude no doubt youre a hard worker.... just learn sides of the game you wanted to
Searching..
Cool attractive graphics, animations...... fantasy world what else is needed to attract teens and tweens!
For me, it's the interaction with other players. To be busy with other players, exploring, making friends, and going through the story.
Everything a MMO stands for

Immersion is key. If you get lost in a game, then they have won.
the graphics looks real... various quests to goof...make friends with no limitation...
