Open Beta Character Wipe?

May have already been answered, but please enlighten me.
Currently Playing: Toying around with AoC and bored with Darkfall
Thinking of Playing: Fallen Earth or Darkfall after this months update.
Have Played: EQ1, EQ2, WoW, WAR, Vanguard, EvE, Requiem, PW, Lotro, Lineage2, AoC, SWG...

The Devs are saying it won't be wiped, but you never know what could happen between now and release.

With the Item Shop open they can't wipe all characters without losing a whole lot of customers I think. The only way they could do a wipe if that also included a diamond refund and they don't even refund you for bugged stuff from the shop atm.
As of right now, there will not be a wipe. However, they still have weeks to go before "launch", so anything is possible.

in game items have been updated and fixed. there will not be a wipe. if there is a problem, the will fix the items ingame and keep going. a few weeks ago some crafting recipies were bugged with wrong ingredients. they just updated the items and then they worked. so even if there are problem items, they will just update the item database and keep on running.
Glad to see that most people say there will be no wipe, I was worried for as bit lol

They've said for months there will be no wipe once Open Beta started.
The game has come along nicely since CBT. I can tell they are really putting effort into this thing, I would be surprised if they wiped and pissed off their entire fanbase lol
