Thinking about coming back

I played AoC in beta and after launch and quit do to the bugs and lack of promised content. However, AoC had some charm to it and I told myself I could come back in the future. Now that I have updated my graphics card this and with the bug changes I think this game could look and play pretty well. I just have a few questions though...
Are there some good high pop servers still around? Or is it a ghost town in some areas? Is the new pvp system fun? Are things getting better for this game? You know the typical ex player thinking about coming back questions...

Save yourself the effort and frustration and wait for the 'come back' trial for previous players that FC is bound to offer when they think the game is ready enough to try to get players to come back. If they haven't offered yet, then they don't think its ready yet. If FC doesn't think its ready for you, may as well wait til they think it is.
well im installing it right now, i will give it a go and see how things have changed.
Yes, there are many good servers with high pop.
Yes, the pvp system is really cool, FC launched a huge new patch a few days ago with new high lvl content ! New pvp system in the Borderkingdoms ( pvp-resources ) and much more.
AOC is much better now and has much more content.
I would definitely recommend people to resub and give it another try

Like someone else already said, waiting for the "comeback program" is the best bet. Why pay for something that even Funcom thinks is not ready yet? They said they will give us free playtime when the game is ready for that.
