LFGame: Space Combat MMORPG-ish.

Let's see, I already play EVE Online (and hate it, yet can't stop logging in every once in a while). I've heard of Dark Orbit and DarkSpace and they don't appeal. I've also tried ACE Online and the game is kinda fun, but gets kind of repetitive. Also, when do you get new Gears? I've seen other gears of the same class as mine and they look MUCH better. >.>

So, anyone know a space-based MMO (not necessarily RPG) that is not Eve Online? I wish Infinity would could out, that game looks awesome.

Oh, and since you geniuses are here (and there's a flashing ad for Crossfire at the top of the screen,) does anyone know any other American-accessible Military Shooters? I've played Operation 7, Crossfire, Combat Arms, and Warrock, and they all are decent games but aren't quite what I'm looking for. I'm waiting on Blackshot but that seems to have a Darkfall-style development record... it was SUPPOSED to be released in December. Any suggestions?

    Try America's Army for your military shooter.  There's also the Battlefied series.

    Yes, Jumpgate Evo does look pretty cool. It'd be nice if they'd hurry up and release it though. However I was hoping for something that involved commanding a capital ship. Fighter combat is so overdone...

    Americas Army is my favorite military shooter. You have to have some patience with the game though, its more about strategy then running as fast as you can and shooting everything.

    i almost forgot, Allegiance is a space shooter you could look into. Last I checked though there werent many playing it...

    vendetta is another space sim/shooter mmorpg
