That raft is the best you'll find, and TBH it does look fun. However, I don't know if I could just sail around on a raft for 3 months while the rest of the game is getting polished and reworked.
Oh, that seemed neat. That's actually first Darkfall video of few i've seen that i liked it. I mean, not the video itself, but rather that small boat on the sea. I'd love sailing around with friends, maybe pick some friendly passenger up, offering him/her a travel to some nearby island, cruiseing whole island around..etc.

I don't know if they're in or not. Considering boats already exist and function (which seems like it'd be the most difficult part of it all), now they'd just have to add a few weapons.
I am disappointed that they didn't give us all maxed out characters/money so we could test this high end stuff, though.
Either way, the game is fun. It's fun enough that I'll pay for it. If you were specifically wanting to play DF to get your "look at me I'm johnny depp!" on, then yeah, you might want to hold off until you see official word that the warring boats are in.

You wouldnt need help, just potions, lots of potions. All you would need to do is outrun the people, theres no CC in Darkfall.

Actually, Lineage 2 lauanced with two major features not implemented. Sieges (it was advertsed as a siege game) and dragons you could fly). the sieges were implemented about 3 months later.

We have seen a video of a boat so I think it's safe to assume if one kind of boat is in then others are as well, especially being that we have already seen the models and the coding for all of them is probably the same.

They did a trailer with ships. So we at least know they have models of ships. Just don't know how much past appearance they are.

This isnt WoW, it is NOT easymode where you can just go buy something like a battleship and sail it aroudn pewpewing. It takes work or else everyone would be riding around in these things.
The higher you get the harder the fall will be. If something ever goes wrong with this game you had better keep a tight lip or you will be laughed off of the internet.

That is an absurd piece of reasoning there, you haven't seen it so they aren't in? Are you one of the people who was saying other stuff wasn't in and then went strangely quiet on the subject when vidoes appeared by any chance? We have seen a video of a boat so I think it's safe to assume if one kind of boat is in then others are as well, especially being that we have already seen the models and the coding for all of them is probably the same.
I disagree but ask that you prove they are not in.
BTW I would consider legitimate proof as screens of you attempting to build it and then finding that it doesn't work. I shall eagerly await your evidence.

Do you remember the Funcom videos showing a city under siege months before release?
So that PROVES that sieges were in AoC at release (enabled for players I mean)?
