That'd just defeat the purpose of wanting to play WoW wouldn't it?
I mean I'm going to, but I'm playing both...

Hopefully my copy will ship tomorrow. I'd gladly trade my key (which I can't use at the moment because the WoW signup page isn't working) if I could play EQ2 tonight instead. ;-)
Seriously though, I can understand some people's frustration, but it's a *free* open beta. If they made us pre-order or something as a prerequisite for getting into the beta, and we still couldn't get in, that would be another issue entirely.

I've got EQ2 on over night delivery.
BUT after playing the WoW beta, EQ2 is going to have to be really, really good...........................
I will buy EQ2 to try it out. I still plan on playing WoW tho. I have friends from other MMOs, some are going to WoW and some EQ2. I will prolly play both, but play the one I have the most fun in more.

im not buying eq2, but i am buying halo 2. I guess that will keep me busy until retail since i didnt get a key for open beta
The momeny I have my new computer I will get EQ2, im quiting WoW today I think, not my type of game at all.

I played the WoW open beta for a couple hours last night, but am glad I have EQ2 on order.
WoW seems to be a good game, but I seem to have a hard time getting immersed in it. Even CoH (which I played for a few months, probably a little *too* long, heh) seemed to have more of an immersion factor for me.
I'll probably play it again tonight though, and I'd probably even play it for a month or so if EQ2 wasn't coming out right away. Maybe that theory will get tested if EQ2 is botched up after I get it. :-)
