Latest Screenies and Movies been unimpressive

Since the early movies I have been amazed and excited about the graphics...I know graphics isnt everything but I am a little concerned with the latest screenshots and movies that I have seen.  They dont look much like the old movies I saw from E3 and such.  They look bland and boring for the most part.

 

I am a little worried because it seems like deja-vu from SWG all over again.  That game looked great in all the movies and then when it came out it looked nothing like the videos.

 

Someone please rest my fears!

    Well if you wait about 2 and half hours, you'll be able to play it for yourself...

    well, from what ive heard, there is a way to put the level of detail up.  One of my friends said that there were 7 levels of detail, if there is, by all means, out them up!

    I also know that only a few people got the game on the 8th, most of us will not be getting it till the 9th, or maybe till the end of this week, i would just wait a week or two, level up, get good friends to level with and wait it out.  Not long before EQ2 owns allimage    I also know that some people will not be getting the game untill about 2 months after release, their just waiting for some updates that will help get rid of the bugs.

    He could be palying it for almost 13 hours now :O... I dont know what your looking at.. but stuffs getting better.. very early pics were just renders... and projected look.. actual look is always worse..

    Have no fear! Been in the beta and in my opinion the best graphics in a game to date. I run the game with everything on high. ( I tried extreme and got maybe 5-8 fps) I think it looks better then even Counter Strike Source. Very impressive.

    Only gripe is that the world is not as imaginative or original as WoW.

    The graphics are state of the art. In fact, they are beyond state of the art, since nothing will run it at max quality. What more could you possibly want? Nothing else comes close.

    less imaginitive than wow? ::::06:: Wow has less mythical races than eq2.. and alot of thier baddies are huge house pests... at least from what I saw during stress :P

    i personally think the new movies and screenies were great, especially that new movie norrath anew...that one was very well done. but, anything people say is not going to stop me from trying the game for myself. dont take someone else's word for anything until you have tried it, imho.
