Yeah, but what version?  It would have been nice had SOE or any retailers mentioned a delay in the non-basic versions of the game.

Got the same thing earlier. They have the CD version today, but I figured I could wait till tommorrow and get the DVD. Three or fours hours of gameplay tonight is not all that big of a deal when I plan on playing this game for months if not years.

SOE are evil evil bastards arn't they? Imagine making us wait a whole 24 more hours...damn that's a gamebreaker for me....I may just cance and preorder WoW instead.... [smacks self in forehead with a hammer] Whew that was close..sorry a moment of temporary insanity there.

i got the same thing a little while ago from gamestop. Out of curiosity I called every gamestop and ebgames in a 25 mile radius here in san diego county and you know what I found out? The people at gamestop are content to just let UPS deliver the games whenever they feel like it. But there were several ebgames stores that told me they were personally leaving soon to go pick up the shipment themselves so that they would have it tonight. Guess who is getting my business next time?

Honestly I don't really care about a 1 day difference, but that is the kind of customer service that I look for. ::::02::

i got thatsame call earlier. it's a good thing i picked up the phone cause i promised my wife i'd hold off on any new games until some bills are paid off >)

as a side note, just saw a comercial for the game on g4techtv. dont usually see advertisements for mmorpg's on tv. just though it was interesting.

Usually a "one day difference" doesn't matter to me either... This is the first time I have ever paid for "Next-Day-Air" shipping... That's how stoked I am for this game!!  I was actually looking at UPS trucks driving in my car today and saying a silent prayer that one of them was on its way to my house with my EQ2... I guess I need to go to church more!

-My current game: (twiddling my thumbs until EQ2 arrives in the mail)
My past MMOG's: EQ 1 - 2.5 yrs, CoH - 1 month (too redundant =( ), AC2 - tried it, couldn't really get into it, Neocron 2 - beta tested it, way too buggy but a great idea that had a lot of potential
