Hello, just wanted to clear this up for all the people freaking out and not paying attention to the forums and or df website. the game is suppose to launch evening there time!

Also would like to say a few other things

1) for all of you bashing DF and praying that this game is an eminent failure. {mod edit} The success of this game will only pave the way for the future of mmorpgs. I wish the success of every MMO out there because I have not truely felt immersed in an mmo since EQ1 or daoc classic.

2) Thank you for for keeping me entertained over the last couple weeks reading the trash and biased vaporware crap that I've been reading.

3) This game has taken the most criticism out of any game developement I have ever seen, and the funny thing is that criticism has strongly come from people who have not even beta tested it.

My tip to all the people who are on the fence about this game.. wait a few days or weeks let the smoke clear and do not look at mmorpg.com for a good  review of the game. I love this site, but it has gotten out of control how much trolling has been done on this forums. It almost feels like people have been employed just to run an anti-df campaign.

* Try the game for yourself your the only one who can give it a true review.

    Evening is quickly turning into night in Greece as we speak. Tasos also said he would give updates through out the day... please show me one response on his part today. Once again things are being said by the company that they cannot deliver... that continues to be a bad sign.

    There are trolls on both sides and yes some that have no interest in the game what so ever. The success or failure of DF will help the genre... not just success. If DF fails it is clearly not because of the features, but how the game was developed and the community was treated. Other companies will learn from that no matter what happens. I also wish the success of every MMO, but that does not mean I have to put blinders on or refrain from being critical when they do something that is obviously unethical or dishonest.

    It goes hand in hand with the DF is the best game ever and Tasos is god posts by the fanboi trolls.

    You have no way of knowing that. In fact a few ardent supporters of DF have turned critics in the past week because the game failed to live up to their expectations. Many critics also made it into beta and reported their likes and dislikes... You are naive to think only fanbois made it into the beta. While the game is decent on a basic level... there are issues. BTW in case you are curious... I have been a critic and while not accepted into beta have over 20 hours of playing time through friends. None of whome preordered the game.

    You should have only posted your part in red. That is the only thing in your entire post that is dead on and helpfull to anyone.

    I like what you had to say. Thank you. Maybe I am a bit of a  fanboi myself.... but then again only been following the game for about two months, I just really wish its success. Been waiting for an mmo worth while for a long time. ( Love pvp & rvr ) WAR killed me. I'm at the point that if this game fails to deliver i'll be throwing in the towel on mmo's. ( and I freaking love the genre). But thank you again for your insights I stand corrected on those notes.

    Trust me I feel mostly the same way. I want DF to succeed because it is the first in only a few new MMOs that has features I am looking for. I was equally put out by WAR... I use to be an avid table top warhammer gamer back in the day. I love the lore and everything... was especially happy Mythic took over the brand... then a big stinking turd was dropped. <sigh>

    Trust me while I might be more critical, I hope for DF to succeed just as much as any fanbois... I am just disolusioned by what I have played so far.

    Over in the AoC side of things, it was quite rough for a while.  To me it was far worse; when everyone hit lvl 20 and had to move from Tortage,  most were going  'WTF!"

    Think I'm going to pass for a while.
