    I wonder...

    1: The people at Blizzard are incompetent and have not learned from the countless other ugly mmo releases

    OR

    2: The people at Blizzard had no intentions of buying the hardware or lacked the time to make code corrections needed for smooth signups (as such would not be useful for a long period of time and therefore wasteful spending). Vivendi is, after all, a huge, ruthless media conglomerate.

    That's all I can come up with.

    Hurray. They are back online but I can't get past the TOU.

    Edit- I forgot to mention the constant stream of error 404 and various others as well.

    I was luckily able to sign up for the open beta, but now I'm left with the horrid task of trying to download the client. I as well (agreeing with another topic comment) am having trouble on any front trying to acuire this alleged "Open Beta."

    I hope for Blizzard's sake they'll blame this on some archnemisis of theirs or something because this really, REALLY looks bad on their behalf. Oh yeah, fileplanet's too. Major suckfest to both of you.

    Yup, the closest I got was putting in my key, and auth code, then it not working.

    I'm off to sleep.

    Hopefully tomorrow's a better day.
