Why all the push backs? Why are there no official press releases? Here are a few quotes that just make me LAUGH!

We’ve been waiting for the pre-orders to process through billing and it has been moving along but not fast enough. We’re almost done with this. Many of you will be getting notifications of this during this process. As soon as this is concluded we’ll process the accounts and open up the servers for the pre-orders. This will be done tonight; the game has been ready and waiting.

The game is quite complete, and quite stable. Most of the whiny parts are people trying to get the devs to tweak it even more. And most of the "game breaking" mechanics are fixed with simple tweaks. The only time this game is somewhat not feature complete, is the features they removed or didn't finished.
As far as server stability, well yes they were stable. But we'll have to see about 10k people at once.
The pre-order thing was a bad call on their part. Should've got a 3rd party to handle it entirely. Kind of suprised Audiovisual didn't handle that stuff, doesn't make their deal seem that great.
Use the search function and join existing threads based on this topic. Nothing new here, dismissed.
You know, I see a pattern here. Many new accounts with extreme attitudes, either paladin zealots or infernal doomsayers. Sad to see people hiding under a secondary account to say crap. No matter if it's for defending or bashing, it's lame.

Really, ther are actually no real issues with billing...they are just giving reluctant players more time to consider pre-ordering the game, just like the first time. In between counting their money and posting on forums they honestly have the consumer's best interest in mind.

You guys are delusional. There is no truth to anything these PoS developers post. They missed the fucking date because they are idiots and don't know how to run a business. They already charged most peoples account and have their money. If the fucking game is ready and can be opened anytime, wouldn't it make more sense to open it for those who were charged so there isn't a mad zerg when they do open it? This company has no idea what they are doing and they are only digging the hole they dug for themselves deeper and deeper. I used to be in love with this game, and tried adamantly to preorder. Once I finally did and saw that I am charged for a game that we can't even play I would love to cancel my preorder. Oh thats right I can't because for some unknown fucking reason they have account management down. The forums AND mIRC are also down and locked. What the fuck is with all the secrecy?

I have to agree with that post...... and I thought the OP post was funny as hell. Good Luck to those who paid and those who are still wanting to play a game.
Its really really sad that these fanboys get so worked up over a GAME despite all the glaring problems just staring at them. I cannot beleive that these guys life revolves around DF. This is just a very sad day for mankind, the basement dwellers have hit an all time low. I wish natural selection worked within the human race.

I bet, If they hired Billy Mays to sell pre-order subscriptions they probably get more. Instead of using these delay tactics like shady car dealers.
