Haters post for what reason?

Before i say anything im on the fence about this game as i have not played it. I neither like or dislike this game, but i have a question for people who hate this game. Why are you bothering to post and reply if you have no intention to play or have anything to do with it? All i see is people who have played saying good and bad things about it and other people who have played or not played it giving it s#$t without cause.
If you dont like the game dont have anything to do with it.....its so simple. Pointing out problems with the game and why you shouldnt play it is an incredibly mean and selfish thing to do as you are going out of your way to ruin it for everyone involved including the developers.

Good question why people out and out hate. I hopefully havnt come off that way myself. When I initally came here it was to get information on a forum that seemed active about DF outside of the official forum, as that appeared a bit too rabid for me.
I cannot however say that it hasnt been "amusing" for me personally to pull the tails of the various ardent fangirls who post here. I consider it a intellectual excercise to do so.
Im not a hater, I preordered, and have spent all day patiently waiting for this damn game to release. You would be surprised how fast bad customer service can turn around loyal customers into hate spewing demons.

Yeah but its anoying because as sed, i came to this site to decide weather i want to play this game or not and in the middle of a perfect and informative discaussion you get someone barking bad things about the game and then the fanbois get involved and then the whoel conversation goes off track. It is kinda funny to watch but not helping me decide to play or not.

On topic: I assume these fabled "haters" you refer to are no different than the "fanboys", they have an agenda to push, and will hear no reason, nor have an open mind.

If pointing out problems that may save you money in the long run is selfish, then yes we are very selfish. I believe most of the Skeptics "haters" and trolls bash the game because of the greatest hyped Indie failure Dark and Light. Where people pre-ordered a game and recieved a game where you had to fix your own client launcher, it lagged insanly on even some of the best of machines. But me on the other hand. I think this game will crash to the ground in a chaos with only the handfull here that dry hump Darkfalls logo playing. Oh by the way good job on a making post thats fully asking people why they hate, then turning around and saying dont tell us why you hate. I see what you did there.

Any good sites or forums i should know about? Like something i can trust without fanbois and trolls? Legit question btw cause i doubt there will be a trial any time soon and im sure as hell not spending money on something i know nothing about.
Well I can't tell you why all people hate but I can give you one good reason: No refunds. A game company hypes a game. Delivers a broken incomplete product that doesn't include the features you were expecting to have. You've pre-ordered, maybe you picked up a 3 month GTC. Well, as far a I know, no MMO company is willing to say "Sorry this game isn't for you, here's a refund. That I'm sure is the reason a lot of people hate. They feel ripped off and want everyone to know, especially prospective customers. I know I felt that way towards Funcom and AoC. If they'd offered refunds for unhappy customers at launch I would have taken my money and never thought about it again. As it is I delight letting people know what a POS that game is.
There. There is one reason why people hate that I hope sounds somewhat reasonable.
For your information, most "haters" are ex-fanbots who got so sick of Tasos' lies during the very long development cycle that they wanted to turn other people away from the game, "for their own good". However, when a new legion of fanbots came in, completely oblivious or ignorant to history, it just stirred up even more "hate" because the fanbots were rabid, spewing nonsense about "DF IS HARDCORE IT WILL BE TEH BETSEST" everywhere. It's natural to be repulsed by such a thing.
The "haters" who are not ex-fanbots are simply people who think this stuff is entertaining. To a degree, it truly is. They're poking the hornets' nest and laughing when the hornets sting them with little toothpicks. All in all, none of this forum war crap will matter in a few weeks/months. It's all a form of short-attention span entertainment, entertainment that quickly fades. There are some pure trolls here but I honestly haven't seen that many, and those are the people you are referring to.
Look at most "haters" as women scorned. They would love the opportunity to play the game, as they imagined it or as Aventurine promised, and if they get that chance then they will take it. Stop assuming that every "hater" simply hates the game and will not even consider playing it, because that's rarely true.

Honesty, no. Forums are discussions, people have an infinite number of opinions, so no forum will ever be free of extreme views. I'd suggest Wiki's for information about games, but don't avoid forums. They are half the fun of MMOs IMO.
Plus, you do end up in good discussion on forums when you post intelligently. Other people of similar mind will always be there.
Nobody hates the game. People do not like the way the development, communication and business practices have been handled. This whole fiasco is good and bad because it proves that the development of a opensandbox type of game that Darkfall is on paper, could be possible to make if made by folks who know what they are doing. Its bad because it could put a hurtin to the industry with future indie companies that have a good idea, because no one will want to invest in it.
On top of all the other failed games of 2008, this is not a good thing.
Which is precisely why the Creator endowed you with a brain...and freedom of choice. Look at all the information available, proceed to your own internal checklist to see if the pluses outweigh the minuses and proceed or, halt. Is this your first forum experience?
Frankly if your implying there isnt enough information on the pros and cons of the game because of failboy/fangirl interactions to various threads id say fail. There is now quite a bit of information on the game via the beta exposure, pay attention to the information, not the chaff.
