SOE online ordering

in Everquest II

has anyone else ordered it from Everquest 2 website?
I preordered a while ago and the FAQ says that they ship the game on release day which I thought was the 8th, not the 9th but I didnt get an email telling me that it shipped.

anyone know if it shipped?

    In the other forum called "ddint ship" some guy wrote that if you order from SOE, you should have already gotten EQ2, but i dunno.

    did anyone else order from the official website?

    my wife just said that she erased the her inbox a couple times today while I was sleeping so did anyone else order it from the site and did you get an email saying it shipped?

    I ordered it from the Station/Sony on the EQ2 site and paid extra for next-day-air shipping.  I got a shipping confirmation yesterday saying it had been shipped.  UPS website says it won't arrive until tomorrow, 11/9, though.

    =(  I'm bitter now since I'll have to go back to work on Wednesday and I'll hardly get to play it until next week.

    My system: P4 3.0 GHz, ATI 9600xt, 1 GB PC3200 DDR, SB Live, Cable connection

    My current game: (twiddling my thumbs until EQ2 arrives in the mail)
    My past MMOG's: EQ 1 - 2.5 yrs, CoH - 1 month (too redundant =( ), AC2 - tried it, couldn't really get into it, Neocron 2 - beta tested it, way too buggy but a great idea that had a lot of potential

    I am saddened to find out i could have gotten it faster if i pre-ordered from EB games.... what the heck you buy directly from SOE and its slower WTF

    Looks like most distributors are having problems... probably due to low numbers of game boxes?

    Ok, I've been in communication with a Manager at the Station Store.  Here's what she explained to me.  She said that "The Station Store", although under the "Sony Umbrella" is treated just like a third party store such as EB Games and GameStop.  So, they received their shipments of games on the 8th, just like EB Games and Gamestop.  Nobody was supposed to sell the game until the 9th.  So The Staion mailed out everyone's copy on the 8th when they supposedly received them, so NDA (Next Day Air) orders should be received today.

     

    The November 7th date that was provided by the Station Store was NOT the ship date, contrary to what it says in the e-mail.  It was the date they requested UPS to come and pick up the orders.  Checking the UPS site shows the actual "pick up" date of November 8th.

     

    Anyway, in my last e-mail to the manager I explained how based on the Station Store FAQ, I should have received my order on the 8th since the Station Store reported to me that they did indeed ship on the 7th.  I have yet to hear back from her.

    This is complete BS... i got an order confirmation the 3rd... and today... 8 minutes before the game is officially released THE GAME HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED YET... meaning its not even in a freakin box and shipping yet... what the heck?  And i don't even remember being given a specific shipping type but i do know it charged my $6.46 for shipping can anyone tell me what that is?  this is retarded

    Shadowgrx, you paid for either 2 or 3 day shipping via UPS... I'm pretty sure it's 2 day, but don't get mad at me if it takes 3...  GL, and see you all on Blackburrow server!  That is, if it ever arrives... these past couple of days have taken about a week to pass... =)

    I order all my games from EBgames - However i'm not sure if EBGames is having this same problem... I wouldn't doubt it. But right now everything seems to be ok.

    My SOE Station Order arrived about 45 minutes ago (10:30 AM EST).  I ordered with Next Day Air and I'm in Greenville, SC.

    I just got my copy of the collectors edition. I ordered it from sony and they still have not shipped it so I was able to cancel my order. I then drove over to Best Buy and purchased a copy. Go figure you preorder it and they can not even ship it on time. That is asolutely pathetic.

    I orderd from EBGames and i just got the "Your Order Has Shipped" email, wishing i woulda stayed with SoE store

    it depends on which version you ordered.  SoE stated today that the collectors editions were held up in customs because of the Tins that they are in.  the info is on the eq2 website...if you ordered a collectors edition tin, i would cancel the order and visit your local eb or gamestop, becaus they said that they would probably not start to arrive at homes until friday or so.
