If i go to a shop and pay about 49.99 $ for a MMORPG why i dont get it full like offline games, why i got to pay every moth for it again?

do you gotta pay if you get addicted to it game makers get more money?

no

do i gotta pay to it if some gets a pirate of it he/she gotta pay for it too?

no, theres no pirates of MMORPGs on net

for what?

but i have nothing against the subscription image

no because, i think most of games come around 1 or 2 months freely to web and the biggest fans of game can get it from shops when its shipped and buy it costly but the normal guys dont go buy it at the frist day... then the most biggest fans have bought it they put a free release of the game into net. And if you buy the package in most is free subscription for moth or two. and you get something extra in the pack. and subscription is for you can go to premium level of the game when you subscrible the game and you can buy gaming cards from shop too if you dont want to subscript. And you play offline game maybe week, then you have the game over. But you can play the MMORPG for YEARS so you got a 1 month subscripion in that and that is longer time ou play a basic offline game so be happy. like i am image

    ok, frist there were the most thinked questions. i write this for newbs who dont know why heres a subscription that is my point... nothing extremely wise, but nothing extremely stupid. Just a small answer.

    unfortunitly, the vast majority of internet geeks are usually freeloaders.

    i advertise a game like Jumpgate or EVE, people will be like "I hate subscription games!"

    though it still be nice to have a mmorpg that was created for non-profit uses while other people can get to host their server.

    i think its something like geeks download a free copy of game what is already subscripted ?

    how some one can do that, arent the games highly fire walled, arent they?

    About monthly fee : 15$ / month ... How much do you spend on beer, smokes, drugs, clothing, food, etc ?

    15$ a month is really not that bad considering the time you'll put in the game. For exemple : Fable cost 70$CAN and I completed it in 23 hours, i had all the strongest weapons/armor and all my skills were maxed. My latest mmorpg (SoR) cost me 50$CAN for the box plus 15 $ monthly fee, but you can play 100s of hours in a month.

    Also, the time your playing the game your not spending money else where.

    And finally : Do you know bandwith, devs team, servers, etc are not free ? the cie need to pay for it so they have to make you pay a monthly fee.

    Wow... from what i can decipher from this mess, you have NO CLUE why there are subscription fees. The monthly fee goes to paying for server fees, Live Team employees, game masters... all the behind the scenes stuff. I have no clue what the hell your reason was, since i couldnt even understand it.

    I don't think it was his grammar as much as his unstructured thoughts. He typed out every single thought that came out of his head, which is why it was hard to understand what Lotharr was saying. My young niece talks like that. :)

    As for mmorpg subscription, many people actually save money playing them. It takes their mind off having to buy every single game that comes out every month.
