This is release version, lets see some pics from you guys with high end rigs! Please:
- All settings set as high as possible!
I'd like to see some good high res of the landscape and towns and characters. I heard that the high settings were disabled in beta.

i have a thread asking the same thing..
edit : removed nasty things relating to another topic.
Sorry if you didnt get my sarcasm on your other thread, I added a note at the bottom, I am too looking for ward to seeing the non debug screenshots.

Debug mode in and of itself doesn't lower the quality of the graphics. It only sends more calculations to the company who is running the game

ahh, in that case, humble aplogies
So no pics?
maybe we aint hardcore enough to see them?
Don't think anyone can even get in game yet.
Sorry off-topic: they said they were limiting NPC because if they added more then it would lower the amount of real players in the game, Does that also apply to mob's ? Is that why there are so few mobs in the game !
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
I'll just help you and repost my reply from the other topic:
You should stop believing all the fairytales the fanbois have been spouting over the internet and search your feelings my young padawan. What are they telling you?
There is no such thing as a non-debug client.
debug is a mode you can set the client in to generate extra detailed logging.
The only thing they do at launch is change /debugmode ON to /debugmode OFF (altho in case of Darkfall I guess they better leave it on a little while longer lol)
So forget about the eyecandy you are waiting for. It's not there. What you now see is what you get.
....well that is... if the server is able to stay up long enough for you to see it.

It also slows down the game. Usually for debug mode to work, the game needs to be compiled without any optimizations enabled.
Because it would slow down the client, they may have opted to disable the other options that would slow down a client, such as higher quality graphics.
*Ahem*
All that aside, I figured someone must have taken screens, I always do.

Let me burst your bubble instantly. As I have been in plenty of MMO and other game Beta's I've lost count really.
I have yet to take part in a Closed Beta in wich they hide and gimp the GFX in the Closed Beta client.
It doesn't even make any sense!
They ask for people's DXDiag files for a reason. So they can invite people from having shit rigs to very high end rigs.
This way they can test the client and their GFX scaling.
So see. If a Beta tester can't run the client properly, he will need to lower the GFX settings just like he would have to after launch. It's all part of the Testing process!
So when do you people wake up and stop believing these fairytales.
here you guys go... Full AA Settings, everything Maxed out. Running on nvidia 9800 gts
Played: Shadowbane, UO, PlanetSide, SWG, EQ 2, City of Heros, AO, AoC, Daoc, WOW, lotro, Eve, GW, Tabula, Pirates of the burning sea (yup), Vanguard, Warhammer, Lineage 2
Out of all those I loved Shadow Bane, SWG (it had its issues but those first few months were great) and AO after about 5 months I was in love) RIP..not since then have I loved a MMO...
Seriously? No pics yet?
You'd think the fanbois would've been posting thousands of screenshots by now to prove their game is real and better than everything else.
Gorgeous
I rather see a non debug mode viedeo in full HD glory show what this game realy looks like now it have launched.
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.
Read my last post in this topic.
It will look the exact same as in Closed Beta. /SIGH
No pics? You know what this means?! The vapor trolls were right! It's all a big conspiracy!
...<We're through the looking glass here people>...

That is far far from reality, the game does not need to be compiled without any optimizations that would pretty much make having a debug mode irrelevant, as a debugging mode is used to test optimizations made to the engine/mechanics, debug mode usually involves raw data being generated either through a console or to XML/TXT files that can be read/compared by the devs on a regular basis to test the impact of the different optimizations/mechanics changes on the application.
Granted they can lock some quality settings so the mechanics can be evenly tested the settings will still be there and with a litle knowledge you can actually force, AA, and other settings onto the game.

Yet everyone who was in DF beta says this is the case.
Indeed, it doesnt.
My post simply describes what could be their reasoning if what the beta testers say is true.
You say they lie (fairytales), wich could very well be the case. However, I did not feel like discussing that (yet again and again and again).

You shouldn't believe all what these beta testers have been saying.
They said the exact same thing about Warhammer Online during Closed Beta about how the client was locked at Medium settings and everything would be better and more at launch.
Well unfortunately for them I have been in that same beta all the way till after launch mid january this year and I am still waiting for the so called Higher graphics settings to be turned on.
So sorry to dissapoint you. Again. There is not a single reason to hide, gimp or dissable GFX settings all the way till launch.

Problem is there is a big difference people wishing those are the lowest setting and those being the lowest settings, there is no official confirmation visual(new screenshots, even a screenshot from the video settings where it said "low" or "medium") or written(offcial comment from tasos) saying those are/were lowest settings, its pure speculation from people wishfully thinking there will be better quality graphics.
FAKE!!!
there are no nameplates in DF
