Error 14001

Well, I finally got to press the Play button but get the error message

 

Darkfall system error: 14001

 

I click ok then it brings me back to the TOS and the patcher to let me click play and get the error all over again.

    AV CC should be able to hook you up.

    SOLUTION

    inside your install folder there is a file called

    vcredist_x86.exe

    installing this fixes the problem

    i had the same issue

    Run the "Install VC Redistributable" in the start menu. If this does not help (for me it doesnt) run the newest installer (Darkfall_1035.exe, normally found at "C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataRoamingDarkfallupdatesDarkfall") and choose "Repair". No additional patching was necessary for me after this.

    Thanks, as soon as I stop getting the "Patcher Failed, and will restart in a few minutes" error I'll see if it worked.
