Collector Edition PetS

OK, i know the Collector Edition is not out yet and that nobody knows really what the exclusive pets are going to be.

BUT many of us already saw thse exlusive pets in the game. I personally saw a zergling, and know there are also little Diablos and pandas.

My question is this one: When you buy (or pre-order) the Collection Edition, do you get one special pet for each of your characters, or just one for the first one you create?

And if each of them get one, do they all get the same or each a different one?

    You only get one for one of your characters if I am not mistaken, I'll try to find a link to an official post on the matter.

    So that will be only one pet for the first created character? And if you delete the char, you lose the pet?

    So basically, that's $30 for ONE pet? image

    If some players who pre-ordered the Collector Edition already have a special pet in the beta, it can't be the one and only pet they will get, as the beta characters are going to be deleted. So they will get the pet in release version witha  new character. That's why i wonder if they might get one for each character they will create under this account...

    If anybody reading this has already one of these little critters, can he/she tell us if he/she also get some with other characters he tried?

    Basically, in short, all characters of the account associated with the Collector's Edition will get one pet. And each can choose between the three available pets.

    And here are the 3 pets, the panda, minidiablo and zergling :

    good to know each character can get one and not just the first, i was personally still hoping for a flying cow but apparently blizzard didn't like that idea... ::::37:: bummer, oh well, the mini-diablo is actually kinda neat looking. and its not like you have to get one of these pets for each character, you just can if you want to.

    I probably won't get the collector's edition, but the one part that intrigues me is not the pet, it's the dvd about developing the game. I'd like to know what it takes to develop an MMORPG. But $30 extra for the collector's edition seems like quite a bit of money just for the DVD.

    I've prepurchased a CE and did it for the DVD, the pet, and also for the 10 day account for a friend. If I can convert him from L2 then the extra $30.00 will be worth it.

    Man. I really wanted a Mephisto or Baal. Diablo? His drops sucked. image

    I think it's pretty cool that they incorporated Diablo in this. Oh the karma. image

     

    My concern as a rogue however is the use of a pet. I don't want a minature Diablo follwing me around as I'm stealth...kinda redundant if you ask me.
