EQ2 vs WoW(open beta)

Considering the rivalry thats developed between the two games, I think it's funny that Blizzard decided to start their open beta today. Coincidence or calculated move?
Doesn't matter to me anyway. I'll probably play both at some point but I am definatly playing EQ2 first. In fact , I 'm about to go pick up my copy here in the next few minutes.

Didnt Blizz start WoW Open Beta 3 or 4 months ago ( when they banned Euro players and players from the rest of the world except US and Koreans from it ) ?
Well i supose they are now trying to make up for the huge market % they lost due to their own dumbness. I myself wont ever play or buy nothing from them...
Anyway EQ2 rox so much. What a awesome game.

I agree, just got EQ2 today and it kicks serious ass. Will probably end up playing WoW also at some point but it won't be any time soon!
