i mean WTF? anyone else not able to login due to this message? Friends of mine can login properly even if they preordered DAYS after me. Do they have to fucking drive to my bank and get their money in person or what? Man this sucks so BIGTIME!!!!!

Im sitting in the same boat man. I was really hoping to get some playing in today. But, at this rate I will have to order twice and wait 3 weeks to play. PO isnt being processed

We’ll process the problematic pre-orders that were not charged, and have 0 balance later today. If you pre-ordered successfully but weren’t charged, or haven’t received your final notice for the remaining successful charge, you’ll need to be patient a few hours longer.

I checked this morning, and they already charged my card for the full amount. I'm listening to my guild play on vent as well.

At least i am not the only one. I tell you guys they fucken let too many people preorder and now they are beyond their capacity and the resolve it by just letting some people in and others not. That sucks!

I get the following error message: "Invalid username or password (#3)".
And yes, I'm using my pre-order account username/password (which I am able to log into their account management page with, when it's up), not the beta account. It's the same username, however. Is that a problem? So:
1. Have any of you used the same username for beta account and "real" (pre-order) account?
2. Does anyone else get the "invalid username ..." message?

I got 2 sucessful preorders one for me one for my wife and the one for my wife gives also the wrong username or password message. So youre not alone with that.

Well glad i'm not the only one, and i'm in the same boat with listening to my guild play while I sit on the sidelines even though I was one of the first to preorder(user=57); It still is inactive. I really hope they fix this today, before advancing onto other things.

I just got the message that the account from my wife has ben charged. But this account is the one giving me the message username wrong. this leaves me to still not being able to play untill they wether fix that issue or charge me for my other account... SUCKS!

The message about being charged... is that the "Purchase Created" mail? If so, I got that yesterday evening. Or is there yet another mail you're supposed to get after that?
Guess so. At least the mail says i was charged for the rest of the amount. But i still cant log in due to the wrong username or password error. The account page is down so i cant reset the password... Everything fucked up - Well done aventurine!

Ok, exactly the same situation as I'm in, then. What really amazes me is that there's so many different failure states that the players' accounts are in. Normally, when there's a problem, most people end up in one of two categories. Not with Aventurine, though. Here, we end up in any random state, left to manual tidying by Aventurine's poor staff.

After addressing a couple of early issues the servers have been running very stable for several hours and we have a large number of players in-game right now.
It’s normal to expect more issues to surface in the next couple of days. We postponed our scheduled maintenance of 10am GMT for later until we can gather some more data and address anything that comes up in a patch later tonight.
We’re aware that some areas are experiencing sync issues for some players. This is a high priority issue that we are working to address as soon as possible. We know the cause for it so it shouldn’t take very long. We will keep the servers up while this is being fixed and we will bring them down for a patch later tonight. For now, players can move away from starting areas to improve their experience.
We have processed the problematic accounts that were never charged but received a successful pre-order notification. Only a small percentage of these were successful and we found out that this is because most of them contain incomplete or incorrect account information. We will try this one last time again tomorrow morning European time, and we’ll open up account management later tonight for these accounts to be able to correct their account data and credit information before we reprocess them. If anyone does not want the pre-order to be processed, they should remove their credit card information from their account. After this is concluded we should be able to open up sales for more Darkfall copies.

Well, hopefully they are smart enough anouncing the opening of the accountpage only to the people that have issues via mail to avoid bombardmet of the site by every poor sould out there that got no preorder leaving the people that are supposed to do their changes out front.

I believe they said that mails sent to support@aventurine.gr would get last priority (meaning lower than the ones sent by means of the support page/form in the account management... which incidentally hasn't been accessible the last couple of hours (or should I say days?)).
In other words, I don't think you'll achieve anything by mailing them at support@aventurine.gr. If you do, however, I'd be very glad to hear.
Same probleme, I just check my CC account and They take my $$ ...yesterday at 4:00pm and still can't play (account is not active (#3) I'm currently with OP on irc channel (statics) and .. look like they can't help me....

Now that the account management page is up again, resetting the password made it work for me. The big WTF here is that my previous password was one generated from their "forgot password" service. The generated password (which I kept) was "aVUpEpYbu%y%ygav". I've always been able to log onto the account management pages with this (when they were up), but not log into lobby/client. I'm guessing it's because of the '%' characters having a special meaning in the SQL query language, and maybe they've messed up their escaping/input validation checks?
But now, after resetting to a password with plain characters, it works. So now I'm off to create my character.
