Important News for Scouts

The J Boots that you claim with your pre-ordered copy of Everquest 2 do scouts absolutely No good.  They do not stack with the Pathfinding ability, thus making them useless for scouts.  So those who are using scouts, I would recommend holding on to your J Boots for a different Character.  Hope this helps

    There's supposed to be an upper-level quest to get J boots for those that did not pre-order.

    Well then I don't understand why they made the pre-ordered J Boots nerfed down like that.  They said it was supposed to balance it out because people that didn't pre-order wouldn't have them, but if they can quest for it later, then I don't see why they wouldn't allow the pre-ordered ones to be normal. But, if the nerfed copy is the same as the higher level quest J Boots, I don't think that it would be all that great a quest to do anyways.  But I'm playing a scout, so I guess either way it wouldn't really matter, heh..
