As a former troll, I apologise - I was wrong about darkfall.

I created this account so I could apologise to people who followed darkfall and thought it would be a good game, on my other account I was the guy who jumped into most threads and left a 'vaporware' or 'lol graphics' comments, I'd like to apologise for this. I understand now that darkfall has released and I was mistaken, I am currently enjoying myself in the game. For this - I am sorry.
The reason I used to do this was that I felt insecure about the prospect of a sandbox game, being a long time WOW player I felt threatened that people could have fun in another game except WOW, I spent hours on the forums trolling and hating. I am sorry.
It seems most people that were like me have given up, in that aspect darkfall has won, the fans have won, but in the end - I have won, having the guts to admit this has made me feel good, now I'm going to go back into the game and have some more fun, see you in-game.

You have got to be kidding me. What evidence have you had in the last 24 hours that this game is a real MMORPG? The website isn't even up and we are on the day after release!

In another thread they are bashing someone with an opposite review because he registered 2 days ago. So your's holds the same weight as his.
They're using the forum for announcements only right now because of the high traffic to the site. They haven't updated their website because they are working on the game.

Well, I'm sure when you get into game you'll understand, theres ALOT of people - hundreds, in the starter cities and only does that number thin when you explore. I've joined a hunting group (Theres like 11 or 12 or us taking down far more powerful enemies). It's quite amazing the amount of teamwork and coordination which can be used.

yes a sandbox game can be very very engaging....and give you a feel like no other...at least for me anyways...as a long time SWG player i spent years going through withdrawl when the nge hit....and so far only vanguard has caught my attention....but alas VG is a pve orientated game and i am excited at the prospect of DF. i am glad to hear a sandbox game was made. Hopefully i'll see some of my old SWG budies when i do finaly purchase DF....i am excited at the in game feedback so far

I am having a hard time taking the original poster's comments seriously. 1) The DFO website is still screwed. No forums etc etc. 2) As of yet there aren't any videos or screens posted, other than a supposed leak and the developers supposed screens of actual game content. I'll take his post as being sarcastic until 1 and 2 are corrected.

Just remember, creating alt accounts will result in a perma ban.

I understand, though It is possible my main account gets banned - this does not phase me. I think once people see a troll change his colours, other trolls will have the guts to do the same!

As far as I'm concerned, if I can't log onto a game, download it, or even access their forums, the game is not released.
clearly... This was beyond a poor attempt to troll. The game has issues... they are not deal breakers, but hardly what was being chanted by the cult of AV....

I know what it's like, most of my life as a hater was spent at the office, whenever I'd get bored - MMORPG.COM sounded like fun. Trolling was the answer for me too.
