poll: should blizzard make more classes?

make comments about making diffrence classes to each side. (more then just 1, all of them. diffrence classes to alliance and diffrence classes to horde)
i know they have works some time on these classes here and i dont think it will change but i think they should. would make the game less borring. but with that less balanced

Blizzard was smart, they gave both realms the ability to play all the same classes(except shaman and paladin)which results in very little balance issues.
I'd like to see new classes, but just make sure they work hard to keep the balance.

I would rather have more races first. I wanna be able to play as those panda things there awesome.
Cause with more classes comes more balance issues but with more races comes more versatility.
more races means more role-play problems. and npc problems.
hard make a race X and make him bouth monster and playable

I think that Blizzard needs to concentrate on balancing out and fixing the issues that they have right now before they even start dreaming of thinking about putting in anything else. This should be a question for Blizzard about... 6 months down the road, if not further.

I don't know how much you guys have played, but with weapon specialization, to dual wield vs. weapon and shield and most especially talents, it really diversifies the game. Playing a defensive spec'd warrior as opposed to a dual mace wielding one makes it just as diverse as if it was a different class, the nice thing about it is that you dont have to decide to just use a single weapon, which is how most games artifically create "more" classes.
In reality WoW has just as good or better diversity than most games on the market. Can you honestly say you've played every class to level 20-25, because that's about the level most classes get their major abilities. Don't just compare the number of classes 1:1 because there is so much you can do with each class in WoW. Just in the class I've played most (mage lvl 17) you can specialize in fire, frost, or arcane talents, each of which alters your playstyle quite a bit. I'm glad I don't have to choose what I'm going to specialize in right when I make a character.
I was very disappointed to see WoW's class choice.
4 out of the 9 classes will be healing, what gives?
There is no bard class, no true ranger class, and no class that fights with their hands(or hand-equipment) and is half-decent.
Bard is the one that really gets me. In almost all of my previous MMORPGs I ws a bard. I love buffing the group, doing some damage, and not have the rest of the party relying on me to heal them.
Ok, so i was a ranger in alot of MMORPGs, too. Well, the closst thing to that is hunter. But with Hunter I end up managing my pets more than I am using ranged attack skills, and if I'm soloing(which I almost always am as a hunter) I can only get a few attacks off before the mob gets within 5 yards, and I have to switch to a melee weapon.
Getting a little off-topic here.. but what's with the minimum distance for a ranged attack? I can hit them from 40 yards away but i can't point the barrel of my gun at their face and pull the trigger?
Anyway, I've been trying with the classes in game, and I really haven't found one I've liked. Hopefully I can find one before release.
