I think many of you are forgetting, normal launches have up to 800k/more who purchased the game and want to log in. DF is only allowing 10k, which would be considered less then most games closed betas and it still his have a ridiculous amount of problems. Imagine if this game ever actually gets the size of a small player base (Not the current less then closed beta amount of players.)

This is what happens when a bunch of total amateurs try to build something that only seasoned professionals with big budgets and large teams succeed at doing
I don't believe they have more than 5,000 seriously.
Make no mistake about it. This is a PAID beta test, nothing more.
I'm surprised that SO many of the fanbois put down every other game and gaming company in the world over much less, and give Aventurine a free pass on every issue that comes up.
How many times did fanbois here scream FUNCOM has ripped you off!!! DX10 was advertised on the box but NOT in game!!! How many of them? LOTS!
But these idiots are willing to actually give their credit cards to an unknown jerkweed company to allow them the priviledge of beta testing a low budget, free-to-play type game.
Unbelievable!
Oh I can really understand the fanboi's somedays. its not about big budget profesional large teams. So they got a rocky start lots have.
Its about the concept of the game going back to some roots of the mmo sandbox world. When you consider there are many people all who like diffrent things you kind of wonder why the big budget large team mmo companys have done nothing but clone (or sem clone) failure's the last 4 years.
The fact is the concept is awsome, If it takes a small indy group of developers to go out on a limb, and try to fill a so called niche market more power to them. It seriously beats another half arsed big budget game with no substance trying to copy someone else for a change
Hate the way its handled sure but suport the idea's os all im saying. Or we may see a long trend of clones with no good open world pvp in mmo's for a very long time.

There is more to making a game than just the game, there is setting up the billing team, customer service team, IT team. Adventurine seems to be finding out the hard way that just having a concept for a game is not the same as launching a MMO.
