OK guys, I spent the better part of the last 3 days trying to get pre-ordered or into this game or waiting for it to release. I did eventually land a pre-order however I was one of those who got the email but no charge. So, today about 10:25 am cst I got my email finally confirming I was charged so I pulled up my statement and I was in fact charged.
I then proceeded to log in, however for about 3 hours I continued to get the account not activated (#3) error. However, I finally got in for aboutan hour before I had to leave for my thursday night class /wrists... I have to say EVEN WITH THE SYNC issue this game is going to be absolutely worth the wait and trouble. I was having all sortsa visions of how this game was going to be like and just running around in the world was entertaining.
I was with you guys about 2 hours ago seething and ROYALLY angry... I am however now again a loyal fan of AV and I seriously believe these guys have the core of this thing done they just completely dropped the ball on the pre-order / communication / billing of the launch. Besides the synch error which wasn't happening earlier in the day for most people it's been completely stable and the combat works and all.
So, my point is truely and honestly in about a week or so assuming of course they fix this very game breaking sync issue which I'm confident they will. Then I believe this game is truely going to be amazing and everyone is going to get what they payed for and wanted for all this time.
Take it from me, someone who was ready to lead the charge on lynching all of AV staff a few hours ago that it truely is worth your time and I was only in the game about an hour... Imagine no synch bug and a free world to explore!

Yep. They just neeed to get the bugs worked out. Darkfall is really a fun game.

I'm not even that angry, I'd say mostly anxious. Everyone's talking about the game I paid for and can't play, I want in on the action!
