mmoguls will keep stargate worlds alive

sancher36sancher36 Member UncommonPosts: 458

Yeah I hate to say it but its true, the amount of suckers parting with their money and the amount of garbage they are spinning for people to signup is staggering.

Just thought I would alert you to this guy http://www.thestargateworlds.net/

Reading down bottom of his page he says this

Many online games players (called gamers) and even business people have asked me again and again if they really can build a business like I have with Mmoguls?

They claim to hate the idea that Mmoguls uses networks and marketing to recruit people to play games and to do social networking.

The gamers hate any type of marketing; especially if it means they have to recruit other gamers from their guilds, teams, or friends. All they want to do is refer their friends to play the games with them.

now the really funny part is this

Its uses Social networks. You do not have to recruit family and friends. You can recruit only from associations that you can form via Social Networking or network marketing worldwide. Its like "FaceBook" on steroids.

I guess he doesn't know that facebook is free

There are no huge upfront loading costs. The monthly ongoing fee is based on games usage and services.

You'll even pay $50 even if you feel the games are crap

If you want to be at my level of a Platinum Executive; all you have to do is invest $249. And you will be at the same level as me.

Now that is a ripoff just to join a social network with the slight chance to make money

If you want to have the same opportunity to make the same amount of money that I do- then you sign up to spend about $50 a month for products and services that you want and can use.

Even if half the games are garbage

The services right now are that as of probably 8/2009 MMOGULS will release for retail sale the world's most anticipated MMO game from a major gaming studio which people via stores and online can get for about $15/month.

mmoguls isn't but cheyenne mountain is even though both are businesses that have the same director involved called gary whiting.

I am anticipating initial retail sales of the game to be about 1,000,000 games bought.

Yes good prediction but how many will fall off after launch

As a Platinum Executive- these gamers can be educated to make money and be paid to play. So some will be made available as part of our business network and we will get residual income of everything they use monthly.

get it right!! spammed not educated

Because I am a top Platinum Executive- I could receive up to 5 of these gamers/retail customers added to my business network for each Platinum Executive in my current business network. That's right; I recruit 1 and will get 5 made available into my business network. For example; if in my business network I have 1,000 Platinum Executives when the games comes out for retail sale; I could receive up to an additional 5,000 (five thousand) gamers/retail customers added to my business network. So I could have a business with 6,000 total people in it instantly after the games come out.

This is where the pyramid side of it comes into play

I will not be a player of stargate worlds if these guys start spamming ingame play on release, oh it will get released because suckers are putting money into it.

There seem to be a few people with that concern. CME haven't shown the slightest inclination that they want to encourage MMOGULS at all. As I've mentioned before, anybody spamming mmoguls crap on the forums gets their thread deleted and are banned by us mods. These actions have been supported by tkksnow, who has also deleted and banned the spammers. I can guarantee you that this will continue to be the case through release as long as I am a mod. Personally, I hate spam, hate pyramid schemes, and hate what MMOGULS are attempting to do.

tbh I don't think there is actually all that many people involved in it anyway. It seems to be the same few people spamming crap around the place. That guy in particular has spammed (and been banned from) a fair few places. He (and the rest of the mmogul'ers) are living in a dream world imo. They haven't an F'ing clue as to what gamers do/don't want. MMOGULS will fail.

Well if MMOGULs fails then SGW and CME go down with it, the few CME staff that haven't been fired are being paid by saps signing up to this scheme. If SGW launches CME aren't going to prevent spam from these guys, they do it on the official forums now as they're trying to suck in gamers to play. Less MMOGULs spam = more gamers ingame who are basically fodder for the social networking predators!

The trouble is that MMOGULS is a pyramid scheme and is therefore certain to fail at some point like all pyramid schemes do. Either it will get shutdown by the law or the base gets to a critical mass and they can't recruit anymore and the pyramid begins to crumble and dies a natural death.

Behind all of this is Gary Whiting trying to make a buck. He cares about no-one but numero uno, he cares nothing for SGW or the community. He cares more about his pyramid scheme right now as he's putting all his effort there, and he ain't going to stop them from spamming ingame if/when SGW launches.

Personally I doubt SGW will make it to a launch, if it does it'll be another Darkfall escapade at best. It's a pity as CME has some good experienced developers and SGW looks like a great concept to me. The videos I've seen of it look like something I'd like to play but with this shister running the show it's only going bad places.

If it goes through nthe wormhole it'll get flattened by the reality iris on the other end, as Colonel O'niell would say "Like a bug on a wind shield!"

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

I agree a pyramid scheme has no product, so what product do you get when you buy into the MMOGULs MLM?
You get the promise of some games which you can't play until the summer, so infact this MLM which has been going since November has no product until the summer. Also we only have Gary Whiting's word on it that a product will appear before the MLM collapses. So what do I call an MLM with no product? A pyramid scheme perhaps?
Oh and I like your quote "Its better to be thought an idiot, than open your mouth and remove all doubt".

This smells pyramid scheme (scam) all over, and I'm pretty sure that's illegal where I live at least (Sweden).

Yes this has MLM sscam written all over it. I would advise you not at argue with Agricola he is one smart and  informed SOB.

As for the legality of it, there are way srround it to appear legal to avoid scrutiny for various athorities. A perfect example is the $cilons. They are nothing short of a pyramid / MLM scam. But now they are protected, and even tax exempt! Germany was smart and outlawed them.

And I think this Gary guy is a lawyer, and if thats the case I'm sure he knows what he is doing to manipulate the system in his favor.

I have no idea what RUidiots said but I guess it did deserve a mod edit

Anyways agricola1 mmoguls has gotten around the no products side of things temporarily until they get stargate worlds and other games, now currently I'm told from a source I won't name is that they have online webbased flash games. Also itzyourmall access which has alot of products on it so they have gotten around the no product side of things at least.

I'm still curious to know what RUidiots had said lol agricola can you give me a sanitised idea of why he was edited???
