So is it fun and all? Tell me the Pros//Cons
And will 512 corsair ram (pc3200) run eq2 smoothe?

Your load times will be longer than if you had 1 gig RAM. On a friend's computer, most zones load in under 10 seconds while with 512mb it used to take 20-30 seconds**.

My buddy has the same amount of ram you do, and it only takes 10 seconds to load most zones, and for me(1gig) it takes about 5 seconds.
A patch a little while ago reduced the loading times significantly, so maybe the "used to" was before that.
In other words, you'll be fine with the RAM, though of course mroe is always better.

With a decent computer, this game rules. The graphics are sublime and the gameplay is very fun in my opinion. Lots of quests, very customizable interface...everything I thought it would be and more.
The only bad point I've found so far is that my server, Befallen, ironically, has gone down twice since I've been playing. But they got it back up in short order.
I have 768 DDR RAM, 2Ghz AMD Athalon XP, Radeon 9200 (i'm in college thats the best I could get)
Game works fine for me on High Performance. I might have to cut that back a little later on when its really crowded. Though I eventually plan on getting a new card and some more ram.
Only minor lag I notice is sometimes my attacks hit after I see the damage amount come onto the screen.
btw, my ram is corsair XMS
