My Experiance so far!!!
It was ok the first few hours that the game was released but serv's went up and down a lot. Just recently as everyoen has heard they have had sync issues which makes the game very difficult to play. If you were soloing during thsi shit...your time was a living hell. But my clan has about 30-40 people ingame who go the pre-orders so my time was a blast. We did EVERYTHING to geather and did it all to get our guild set up before everyone else (didnt happen but we got what we wanted and were in the top 10 to do so).
I can tell you now, PVP in the game ROCKS, just make sure your not alone. My guild is a friendly guild and only kills reds and agressors so dont think we are gankers. How my guild made their money was not EXPLOITS or anything like that....we got all our people to circle around and open and loot chests (it only empty's per person, so i coudl loot a chest and then next person can come up and do it). We got LOTS of gear, money, and tools by doing this. This was thanks to people who know were items were at during beta and got everything set for us on release....we have had a hell of a time and all of us are having tons of fun ingame. And trust me on this...find a clan and find one VERY FAST... this game will SUCK solo....horribly..

Edit: I stated about that solo was horible...i will have to take that back since i havent experianced solo play since i am ALWAYS with my guildies....so just ignore that statement. (keeping it there since i hate making stuff i said non-exisitant.)

Played with a clan and solo. I enjoyed them both but I always like playing with others more than solo.
But I cannot tell you how much fun I had in beta stalking other humans at the goblins and picking them off solo. Hiding behind a rock and shooting them with arrows as they spun around in circles made me laugh. Was great untill they got smart and chased me off.
Gondis is your guild recruiting? I wanna get in a big guild to have some fun.

My guild is is Sturmgrenadiers and have around 650+ members (over many games).

So... you used your beta experience and poorly designed chests...
ugh no wonder. My guild tried killing mobs, running dungeons, and grouping up on spawns. We got owned by horrible syncing and have yet to obtain a city plot because apparently we didn't exploit beta enough. 
WildStar is like if Ratchet and Clank had a baby with Beyond Good & Evil and that baby was raised by World of Warcraft and Spore and babysat on the weekends by the aliens from Space Jam. It's an ugly bastard worth a few laughs but not much else.
sad, ive been looking forrward to DF for 4 years, and am kinda considering not getting it.. seems like a zerg fest where people just run around with their clan members, im glad i didnt get to preorder, gonna wait till i see some reviews
by the way, im willing to gaurantee you that you think pvp rocks because you are running around with a large group of people making it near impossible for you to get killed, which makes it fun for you.. i played in the beta and the pvp seemed overall stale..
Playing solo isn't impossible and it can be very fun. You just have to be the kind of person who can take their lumps and move on.
If you take your beatings too personal, this game will suck. It can be very brutal on both the solo and group levels if you are having trouble holding your own. Even still, being a loser can still have its moments of fun. The difficulty level and what you can accomplish with that wind in your face is a rush. It sucks to play something and have everything handed to you. In this game, you will have to earn it, defend it, build upon it and even then, it can all still be taken away. The only thing they can't loot is your character build, so you will always have that progress. Remember that.
You should watch the beta videos where small clans own larger ones in fights.
I assume you're talking about PvP solo play, in which case I'd disagree. Solo PvP can be quite exhilarating. Going into the enemy lands and picking off people 1v1 or 2v1 if you're good(I've seen enemy solo pvpers do this) and then running off to hide and striking again later.
PvE solo sucks though, but it's not a PvE game.

I fixed it with an edit before you posted.......i know i was in the wrong since i had not experianced it yet.
I enjoyd PVE solo... tho it was MUCH harder. PVE as a duo makes things 4x easier... i haven't experienced anymore but i'd think after 4 people or so it'd get a little crowded for combat on one creature.
Makes me curious how much i'll be able to solo once i'm geared out and spell/skilled up
