Which guilds have thus far established themselves as the best? I've read around 13 have cities up already, anyone have a list? A search turned up nothing.

    it's been one day...no one has even fought eachother yet...how do you expect there to be a "best"? What's your definition of best? The clan with the most members? The clan with the largest built city?

    i heard a city is 35k, is this true???



    because seriously, if people got 35k within the first few hours of playing then im just gonna quit now

    That's a pretty dumb statement. For a city to be erected in such a short period of team, clearly there is organization and leadership that must go into it. I want to know which guilds were competent to come up with a plan to raise a good ammount of guild and get a city up stat. I didn't ask who has the most members.

    There are mobs in the game with fast respawn dropping gold at the rate of 100+ per kill.  Get an organized guild from beta... 35k wouldnt be much of an issue it seems.  You all seem to forget something here.  This is not a level based game.  They dont need to wait tll they have "end game" skills to attack harder mobs numbers work well.

    Cities havent been established yet, only claimed.  Basically there are like 50 or so spots on the map where you can make a city.  You must first make a clan which costs like 2500 gold, if im not mistaken.  Then you have to buy a stone to claim the city location itself, i think that costs in the neighborhood of 10k gold.  So your looking at around 13k required to claim a city.  In my opinion, that number needs to be much much higher (closer to 50k to 100k imo would be balanced).  Gold is much too common in the game.  Im a solo player and i made close to 2k gold in my first couple hours of playtime.

    For a city to be claimed, all it takes is exploiting.

    2k to create a clan

    10k for the shard to claim a city

     

    Not very hard to get, just takes some experienced players.

    Oh Jesus...go cry about exploiting somewhere else. Guilds finding mobs with high gold drop rates and killing them with numbers is not exploiting.

    Apparently you know nothing about how cities work and weren't in beta.

    Claiming a city requires 3,000 gold. All you have to do is create a clan which costs 2k gold and then buy a clanshard and use it on a clanstone city. 

    I doubt any clan has more than a bank and maybe one small building erected in their cities.

     

    3 people could claim a city in 2hours gameplay easy.

    People are just claiming clanstones. Entire cities are not being built. All you need is a clan, a city/hamlet stone and a clan shard. It is not expensive. It is certainly not 35k. These clans played in beta, know where to find the mobs and cities and even after a wipe will still beat you to it. The mobs have been bugged even through beta. Many reports and  tweaks were made but the major issues remained.

    shard prices were increased to 10k? Thought that was a troll...they were 1k in beta.

    Who really cares if they claim it?  They still have to build all the structures and walls and crap like that and it takes alot more time and money to do.  A city can be attacked at any time and there are still many locations that have yet to be claimed, probably like 20 or 30 more spots.  When more retail orders open up there will still be slots left and if there arent there will probably be fresh servers to join.
