with customer service like this the game will fail.
I dont care how awesome it is or how much potential it has, customer service like this will fail this game if they dont change it and soon.

Really what did you expect guys, you need to give them some space, if you really believed this small company would produce a game of magic from their budget then you are expecting far too much. All the complaining is from many of the NA people, while I understand you have paid to play, you have to allow them the opportunity to get things going, they have sold more copies than even they expected and their lack of expertise shows with the problems they have had.
You have no one else to blame but your selfs, had you waited until they got the game stable and the NA servers up and running then you would not be on here complaining like you are. I find it really sad reading all the post I have but if you guys really think they are wasting their time reading your comlaining then I feel you are crying on deaf ears, because they are trying to get things working.
All their fans have put them under so much pressure to open and produce a magic rabbit, well it was always going to struggle to meet expectations. I have been watching some of the streams on the game and anyone can see they are trying their best and working on patching, I bet these guys have not slept and do you think they want this to happen, well hell no they want you to have fun and be happy so give them a little slack and chill out peeps.
If you are really that bothered then email them and ask for a refund there will always be someone to take your place.

Wow, classic fanboism. Blame the customer. The fans did NOT put to much pressure on Adventurine. They did that all by themselves with all the times they lied about the game being done. When you come out and say the game is more feature complete then any other game out there and that it could launch now, then many months later, fuck up this bad, then you have no one to blame but yourselves.
Why do people keep saying this, like AV was some fly by night company working out of a garage? They had several rounds of funding that most MMO startups can only dream about. Just a couple months ago they managed to procure a 20 MILLION EURO convertible bond.
No... AV was not some broke company that couldn't afford a CSR or reasonable forum bandwidth. What they actually did with their cash is now in question, considering what a craptastic state the game appears to be in.
Sorry Bandit. The majority of the beta testers told them to delay the game because the beta was as unpredicable and incomplete.
Now we're left with a broken product based on trusting Aventurine. I payed for a product and service, none of which was received, other than a broken client. I received an email that the launch client is up and I payed for it. I received confirmation that Launch Date is the 25th. Launch date 25th? Nope...lies. Stable product? Nope...lies. Content-rich, nope...empty.

It seems to be extremely hard for them to just give a message before the server goes down and maybe and eta etc.
they are silent so they don't get flamed for trying to make everyone happy.

Its funny how people who hate Darkfall spend so much time talking about Darkfall.

They put up their release patch that was not tested by beta. before that patch everything was better.
Oh well, by now you know how its going to be like. I wouldn't expect it to change much. You either accept it for what it is like as I have or you quit worrying about it and move on. No one is twisting anyone's arm to pay for and play this game.
Adding up all the pros and cons, I'd like it to be different myself but its not. Overall, I am content.
The funny thing is that they could have avoided all of this if they could have seen past their arrogance and been a bit less naive. They should have pushed the beta longer. They might have run out of money which is pretty likely, but releasing a shitty piece of software only delays their suffering.
Guys I am not a fanboi, I try to look at things from both sides rather than taking side at all so that's why I made the comment I did. We are all aware of what happens and sadly should not, but when a small company trys to do what the big boys can not even get right then lets not beat about the bush here 99.9% of us seen this coming, but alas people still pre-ordered with very high expectations and this is what is causing many people to rant and flame through frustration.
Look we all know it's not up to scratch but from the fallout on the pre-orders it was obvious even to the likes of Stevie Wonder that there were going to be issues and most people could see this coming while not saying too much, but hoping and getting and then making statements ive been awake for 28 hours is alway going to get a negitive response from people. Because no one in their right mind can make a sound judgement with little sleep, so imagine what the dervs are like atm trying to resolve things to save their already tarnished name.
I certainly hope they get it right for you guys and for the sake of the game but don't hold your breathe, in fact I would expect more problems before they get even close to having a playable game. However while I appreciate everyone is entitled to voice their opinion and concerns it would be nice to login to here and be able to talk about something other than, Foooking Tasos + AV F*AHJSD CYU$ BS!!! blah blah ect...It gets a tad repetitive seeing this every day.

Umm not all NA players are QQing! I live in NA and Im perfectly fine with the downtime. As much as I want to play the game, I would rather them keep the servers down to fix the sync issues than open the servers up unplayable.

brannoc is the lead volenteer moderater of the forums, and also the forums are down and only the develpment team can post those updates on them right now so your a dumb asshole
