You guys, please calm down. I know that you were waiting for the next big MMO, the one to crush all others, that you could just devote your time and money into, forgetting all others, and most importantly, not having to search anymore. But if this game isn't it (and I'm not saying it isn't, I'm just saying if), then chock it up as a $50 loss and keep looking.
I haven't tried this game, but since it's release, I've not heard anything but bad press about it. People that were faithful followers of it, giving it the thumbs down, so I'm thinking it must not be what everyone hoped/expected/wanted it to be. Well the easiest way to get back at Aventurine for disappointing you is you all quitting the game, so that the money they spent to make it, was wasted.
But no game is worth losing your sanity for, and some of you sound like you're going to have an aneurysm if somehow this game doesn't just become what you had hoped it would. Don't do that to yourself. It's not worth it. There are other games that are worthwhile to play. They may not be exactly what you want, but still fun and enjoyable if you take them for what they are.
Hopefully what you are looking for will come around the bend some time soon, I feel your pain, I still haven't found exactly what I'm looking for either, but for now, LotRO works for me.

Really? Even on these forums the majority of the reviews have been positive. Care to point me to the location of all these negative reviews of people that have actualy played the game?
But I agree people need to calm down. I mean if Darkfall is not for you it should have been apparent by now.....and if it is then just chill while they get the servers stable and patched.

It does sound good and there has been a lot of positive reviews..
but i cant breate gotta keep refreshing the accounts page until the sop opens otherwise ill miss it and wont get in until they buy a new server LOL
put it this way , there is a reason that DF has thousands of hits more than even the game right below it. go see right on the front page of this very site.
That would be because everyone watches a train wreck. No one has been able to play the game long enough to get a true impression. Put t this way, wait until they get this mess straightened out and then when the hysteria dies down there will be real information available instead of fanboys and trolls trying to see who can be the bigger bunch of idiots.
Yes, people played beta long enough to give reviews. Just because every positive review gets insta-discredited as being a "fanboy" post by the trolls and haters does not mean it is true.

No they didn't. They played a beta with things being constantly turned on and off, low server populations, "debug" mode running and servers being frequently shut down to be patched. No one has played the complete and final game with a full server. The Game hasn'teven approached a stable launched configuration yet. They're still doing hotfixes. You can stop blowing smoke now.
Things were not constantly being turned off. Server population was plenty high to test all of the major features of the game. Debug mode and logging lowered connection speeds some, I fail to see how this affects game features. Game was up for long periods of time, 3+ days in many cases. True noone has played the complete and final game with a full server, but I hardly see how that has anything to do with giving a review on the basic gameplay mechanics. Get a better argument, the above failed.
I guess this is not "true" impressions hu?

Ok, someone said that didn't know what I'm talking about, so I'll explain. If you are not freaking out about this game sucking, then honestly...I'm not talking to you.
Ok, now that the most important point is out of the way, this is what I'm saying. Whether the game is great or horrible, I have no idea, I haven't played it. But I keep seeing on the front page of the site on "Recently Visited Threads", nothing but negative feedback, with people sounding like they are losing their minds over this game not being what they want. I've not seen the front page littered with, "This is the best game of all time!" posts. And whether the game is good or not is not even the point of this post. This post is about not allowing disappointing games/releases/patches or whatever, make you lose your mind.
That means any game. It just so happens that Darkfall seems to be the game that is getting the biggest focus right now so I posted it in its forum.

Ok thanks for putting it in perspective. Yea there have been many threads about the crappy account managment system and such, but almost all of the reviews have been positive. I could see how you would get confused just looking at the feed on the first page......in case you did not notice we have a large infestation problem around here.
If I could reply to all of these posts I would use just four words.
