And people mouth about the Darkfall community? Damn, look at how the non-Darkfallers act. I see a huge difference on this board between the people who like and support the game as opposed to those who don't play it, don't know it but still hate it.
I have to chalk up alot of this animosity to the long term effects on the mind from being ganked and possibly even looted in games of the past. I think people are still really offended by being killed without consent in a video game.
Even if Darkfall was perfect, people would still hate on it because it represents a difficult and personal style of MMORPG that is intimidating to them. Seriously.

LOL some of us are in our 30's and 40's and actually have careers that pay 80k plus.. no $50 isn't a lot of money. I spend $85 every friday just on a good bottle of tequila.
I never said I didn't have money. I don't think wasting it is something to gloat about.
I'm sure they see you coming a mile away...someone with more money than brains. You couldn't tell the difference between a $30 bottle of Tequilla versus an $85 bottle. We used to sell overpriced and overrated wine/bourbon to your types all the time when I worked at a restaurant.. You'd gobble it up along with the rest of the "status" types, it was too easy. Fragile egos must be hard on the pocket book eh?

I think I'll probably do it a coulple of more times
.. will no doubt do the same for Mortal Online in a few months and if that also has as bad a launch as this I might just wait a bit on the next one.. 
Having said that I don't have any previous ones to learn from as I didn't start playing DnL until it was F2P and was running ok, all the other mmo's I've played have launched ok.

Actually, I expect this. The statement above really isn't far off. Anymore, purchasing an MMO before you try it is a crap shoot. Heck, the last MMO I purchased was Pirates of the Burning Sea ...... skipped AoC and WAR as they seemed a little regurgitated. I'll wait and see what happens with Darkfall ....... am I upset that purchased it? Have I learned my lesson? Nah ...... it was just time to roll the dice again. I'm sure it will entertain me for at least a typical single player game timeframe ..... *cough .... once the servers come up .. *cough.

It is easy to get caught up in the hype of a game you want to play. I have probably saved a few hundred dollars just waiting a couple of weeks after release to see whether it is worth playing or not, that includes other games besides mmo's.
Took me a couple of burns to get it in my head too though.

What does Handicap got todo with Paid to Play Beta in Darkfail? Paying a full retail price for a half ass game thrown togeather with major bugs and still in beta is Funny as all hell and what even worst being charge every month for it as well.Here this is for you,,,>

People have a right to be 'delusional.' By that I mean, perception is reality. If they truly like this game who cares? I know to me, it's a steaming pile of shit. So I won't pay to play it. I'm sure that people think the games I play are steaming piles of shit (Everquest 2, and WoW). Each to their own.

It's called 'Taking a Fool for Fifty Bucks', you seem to not care what piece of crap you spend your money on so you might as well give it to me. Hell I will even send you a disk and a player's manual, which is far more than you'll get from Aventurine.
yea there actulyl tryign to fix the issue the game isnt apiece of crap just a issue that popped up thatw ill be fixed in a day or so
