We didn’t manage to completely eliminate the sync issue affecting players in the game earlier today. Our real-time monitor alerted us of this as soon as we brought up the server and players started entering the game. We need to take more time to address this. There is no ETA as of yet. We’ll keep you posted on any developments.
Latest update.

OMG these guys suck at life!
balls
Lulz
The best lack all conviction, while the worst / are full of passionate intensity.
good 1 problem that will reappear later based off beta testers is finally resolved momentairly...
At least they won't have to push back an ETA time.
Bummer....another day freetime for the poor pre-order folks?
There goes hopes for a Friday order of DF. Maybe Saturday. See you all then!
That is so true! I am just in awe how broken it is still.
This games been out over 32 hours, Iv played it for 3 hours so far.... WTF
It feels as if this game didn't even have any past Beta testing. This is beyond ridiculous now.
The game actually looked pretty fine from Beta leaks I have seen. But now it's all gone down hill suddenly? How the heck did this happen? The game looked totally playable a few weeks ago.
I guess one of the patches maybe screwed everything up.
The fanbois said it was fixed Shows how much they know. That is ... nil.
Scam... the whole thing was a scam... game was never playable.
I guess this is what happens when you promote the janitor to do your coding.
Fuck this, I'm sending in the Panzers !
Can't believe MMORPG.COM has darkfall on their site... remove it -- it decredits you guys... I'd remove the game from your list.
But then where are people gonna cry next?
I wouldn't take it that far, lol.
WOW.... Really aventurine?.... really???
Jesus
What are you going to do in one day that you havnt done in 7 years?
Most likely happened because Aventurine, in all their wisdom, chose to forego a real stress in favor of release. Sure, the game worked great with so many beta testers. Too bad it didn't work at all with the REAL server load.
because when you beta test a game with a few hundred people you dont have many issues suddenly slap 10k people in there and bang what happens it brakes.. is that a suprise for anyone.
This is the reason nearly all mmos to date have had some epriod of open beta to stress test the servers and make sure somthing like this does not happen.
Bullshit....

It wouldn't have been like this at launch if they gave the Beta testers the RELEASE patch they added after shutting beta down.

Between the patch and lack of stress test, we find the unfortunate case of DF Launch.
uhhh.ohh. okay, this sounds serious.
Suddendly appearing desynch looks like a problem deep in the roots of an engine and network code. Such bugs you hardly can fix easily.
Worst case, server are several days down due to this.
Could be. It may have been something else entirely though.
One of the things that the Funcom team learned really quickly with AoC. Sometimes a fast fix wasn't the best thing for the game. A fully tested, slower fix that has a very low chance of breaking anything else is much better.
The rapid-fire patches that were the last week of Closed Beta and the first few hours of Release for DarkFall is probably coming back to haunt them now.
It's great that they are able to quickly fix things... but that doesn't really do anyone any favors if the "quick fix" ends up breaking the game.
I'd recommend they do a 2-week post-ponement of Release and re-enable the Beta players. Freeze the free month where it's at and don't re-start it until it's ready for the "Re-Launch"
Use the 2 weeks to get the game-breaking bugs fixed and tested with the Beta players. If need be keep it in Beta for another month until it is stable and the sync issues and "black-hole" for the human lands has been put to rest.
This time could also be used to sort out the remaining pre-order billing issues.
Once the major issues are fully fixed, then "Re-Launch" and re-start the billing and free month of game-time. I'd also consider adding a couple weeks of extra free time for compensation.
Anyway... how the Devs handle this situation over the next few days could well determine the success or failure of DarkFall. They still have time to make this work... but it is crucial for them to keep the good will of their customers.
Ok, I have really been trying to be patient, I didnt preorder, and I was intent on purchasing when it became avaiable and things settled down. This has gone to far, one paragraph to explain wtf is going on?
Get your shit squared away.
