just recieved emails from aventurine stating my payment has been successful ...
this is after i used my credit card instead of debit card last night ... what a relief
thought i'd let you guys know , so those who experiencing the same problems can check their mail

i think i would actually check with my bank or credit card company and make sure it is charged unless you want to take something else that aventurine says at face value. glad to know they delayed the game a month to get their billing/support set up and squared away, can you imagine the problems if they hadnt taken that extra time?
I am very happy as well just got the email my payment went through for the client I am glad they are at least continuing to process orders, if you wanna cancel you remove your billing info that is all.
I wont even attempt to login until the server status is online but I am just glad this part is over.
It wasnt aventurine's billing company this whole time I really thought it was, I am using a capital one credit card and first attempt failed. I called my card company up and said I got a family member in greece who needs money, you need to let 65$ american open for euro transaction tomorrow morning. Capital one said ok it is open I made a note on your account
I just got home with killzone2, a bottle of grey goose and my email confirming my darkfall purchase!! What a great day off!!!!!!!!
So I hope anyone who is using US credit card and has not made foreing purchases before you need to call your CC company before hand and allow this, with all the scamming in the past decade these measures are in effect by default. I ran into a bunch of threads last night where people were calling as well, I just thought I used this card before to make a purchase in russia but it was another card.

I logged in the account and on thebackorder page the message had changed

If this credit card doesn't go through, there's something wrong on their end. I have $6,000 in my account, and I called yesterday to authorize any transactions that would happen today.
My pre-order just went through as well!! I just logged in fine and am downloading the patch.

Might not be the same for you but even though I raged over and over here that my info was correct and it was Aventurine that was wrong I finally realized that there was a TINY mistake that I had never made before and didn't realize. I deleted my payment info and re-entered my credit card and this time it worked.
It's still their fault for not catching it in the first place instead of telling me it was right but the minor typo was on my end.
I wish it was later in the day so I could drink a beer in celebration of my successful order.
